Review Sake Sushi - Ucluelet

Very tasty food and quick service! Om the menu, the food seemed a little pricey, but the portions were huge and we left feeling stuffed. It also seemed a little weird that spicy versions of items were a dollar or two more than original versions (the edamame beans and agadashi tofu, for example), but the spice was great, so we didn't mind! Lovely little area for kids to play as well, very family-friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend the Hot Night roll!

Quick and easy takeout. So fresh and delicious. We were amazed at how quickly our order was ready. Perfect if you’ve taken the day to drive from Nanaimo to Ucluelet and want to just enjoy something delicious in your AirBnB. We loved the lemon drop maki sushi. Very highly recommend!

Great spot! Very friendly staff and super fresh sushi. We got take-out, drove back to our hotel and it was still some of the best we’ve ever had.

When I go to Ucluelete/Tofino I enjoy stopping in at Sake Sushi. Why? Quality and freshness. If you are there during the summer get the spot prawns. It's a seasonal delicacy that is cheaper on the coast and tastier too. Is this a traditional authentic experience? No, it's Korean owned and has some of the taste notes that is found in their food... this however, is more similar to North American pallets.

Good food. Nice atmosphere. Did not like being charge for a small bowl of hot sauce.

Although the staff were unorganized, the food was decent. There is an odd way of ordering, which didn’t make much sense as it would be much eatsier if they had just took our order instead.

Wonderful service. Delicious food and beautiful presentation. We had Tempura,Tuna Tataki, Rainbow roll and Delicious roll, everything was delectable.

The pros: food was great and service was stellar. For the only sushi in town they have a great product. Some of the better I’ve had anywhere on the island. The cons: the price is outrageous. For the price of our meal we could have eaten the same thing twice in Nanaimo. So if you’re looking for economical, keep looking.
