If you are in the area please stop in and eat here! It was absolutely amazing food, and I wish I had time to try more of the menu. The staff were friendly and offered great suggestions.

We had a great evening at Georgie's Restaurant, first off, we had an amazing Server named Charlie, he went above and beyond for my family and took the time to tell us some specifics of menu items as well as helping is decide what to order. With all that, he also took his sweet time and paid attention to our 20 month old daughter and made sure her evening went the best! Aside from that, our food was amazing and the view is breathtaking! We will be returning!

A small restaurant with great views of the harbour and quite a few delicious-looking menu options. It would probably be a good idea to make a reservation for a table by the window.

Probably the most upscale place in Twillingate. Good menu and drink selection with attentive staff. Open earlier in the season than a lot of local restaurants.

Fantastic meal! Had the salmon and it was cooked perfectly, with very nice grilled root vegetables and mash. Husband had a seafood pasta with scallops and it was also delicious! Service was great and appreciated the bread provided as part of the meal as well. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of the meals and would definitely recommend if looking for a more finer dining experience in Twil.

Great Twists on Local Favourites. Had dinner at Georgie's last weekend and really enjoyed the new and improved menu. The Moose Diablo and Chile Lime Pasta were great twists using local ingredients. The seafood was fresh, the sauces complementary to the main ingredients without being overpowering, and the presentation on the plate was tastefully done. We finished with the Touton Sopapilla–a fine fusion of a local tradition breakfast offering with mixed berries, ice cream, and chocolate. Divine. I only wish we'd decided to pair the meal with a local wine to round out the meal (we were offered but decided to be good...our bad for declining). The dining room has been freshened up and the new artwork drew our eye. I love the picture of Georgie presiding over the dining room and as always, the view from the dining room was stellar. The server was professionally attentive and always appeared at just the right moment even it was the end of a very busy night. Congrats to the chefs on the reworking of the menu!

The next day we tried the new lunch favourites at Georgie’s: the Pork Belly Sliders and the Salt Beef Sandwich. The later is a Twillingate take on the Montreal Smoked Meat sandwich and I liked it very much. It had just the right amount of saltiness tempered with mustard. The sliders were a wonderfully decadent wash of favours and textures-seriously yummy!

For our finale dinner at Georgie’s we had the pan fried cod. With the perfecta amount of scrunchions, it was cooked to perfection. It was served up with an Anchor Salad and Lime risotto and I thought I had gone to heaven. It was truly the most divine piece of fish I’d ever eaten. I savoured each bite and didn’t want the meal to come to an end. A fitting finale to a marvellous weekend get-away in Twillingate.
