Service also excellent.
Don’t let yourselves be deterred by the street main entry dwarfed by the huge translucid protective tarps, the inside is very cosy and the beer and wine list very attractive.
We will go there again certainly (6 of us).
My boyfriend & I finally tried this place about a week ago . We see it all the time going to & from point roberts. It's not very big place but it's very warm and cozy. After we ordered, it was not too long when out meals arrived. The portions looked small . But halfway thru dinner, we realized how rich the sauce and pasta really was. So tasty. We're definitely coming back again. Never judge a restaurant by the exterior.
Great, I mean great house lasagna. Worth the drive. Pizza my son ate was also super. Good value, workable beer menu, nice atmosphere, if a bit noisy. Upstairs corner booth was a nice spot for a bit less noise.
Every time we go here, we never leave disappointed! Amazing food!!! Their pastas and pizzas are to die for!! The 40 minute drive is so worth it for me. The staff is very professional. I love it!
Ordered a medium 'special' pizza. Like the crispness of the crust when it just came out. Even the bottom of the crust have a good crisp. Would order a smaller size next time because we cannot eat it fast enough, the steam came out from the pizza bottom made the crust bottom become soggy. The topping is ok, a bit too much of meat for me, it has both chorizo sausage and ham , mushroom, pepper . Waitresses are great and have good service.
My favorite goto restaurant. Excellent service always feel welcome. Food is superb always have specials for variety. Reasonably priced, highly recommended.
Mario's has been renovated and has a fresh modern look. They have very attentive service and the food is consistently good. It's a Tsawwassen mainstay so go early if you don't want to wait.
Mario's is a great place to go for all occasions. Whether it's date night, a night out with your friends, or a family get together, they have something for everyone. It is the best pizza in the lower mainland. I tried the big Hawaiian which is an interesting twist on a classic. They add teriyaki chicken and it's amazing. I also tried the stuffed mushrooms as an appi and they were some of the best I've ever had, with fluffy cream cheese and delectable crab meat. Their entire menu looks delicious and I look forward to going back and trying something new. It's always fairly busy, but it's worth the wait, and the staff are very hard working and friendly. The owner went by to several tables to ensure all guests were enjoying themselves. He loves his job and you can tell by his attention to detail and his kind, happy demeanor. I highly recommend Mario's and can guarantee an exquisite dining experience!

Mario's used to be the mecca for good food in the area. Recently they have strayed from their roots and although this restaurant is still acceptable, but definitely not a regular gathering point for me. The meatballs are 8$. 8$ for 4 meatballs with your sphagetti is insane. The prices on some items are just ridiculous, mainly the pasta's, relative to what you receive, which was what this place was famous for, back when you could get a seafood canneloni that would blow your mind for 14$. Some of the dishes are still killer, the pizzas are still the best in town and probably always will be, the pastas all need an overhaul, ive never tried a spaghetti bolognese that lacked flavor, until i tried it here, 8$ extra for the meatballs, come on. Service is pretty good, overall its overpriced and the quality just isn't there, if you're gonna try the famous Mario's, i suggest ordering a pizza or going elsewhere until they figure out whats going on with the chef's. Owners are a delight, always around and super nice.
Absolutely amazing!! The restaurant is spotless, the waitressess were polite and extremely helpful. The food arrives quickly, is super fresh and eveything is made from scratch. Soo delicious! I will be driving from north van to come back here!!
Pasta is fresh and service is good. Went here tonight and had a very good meal. Had calamari, the oil was a little tired, tasted a little like the wings had just come out but it was very good. The tortellini was awesome and baked just enough, the free range chicken was also tasty. The new owner (last two years) has a lot of experience and background to make this an even better restaurant. If they keep up their commitment to fresh and natural food without cutting corners they can only get better.
Lovely lunchtime fare!. My husband and I went for a drive and ended up in Tsswassen. We were lucky to find Mario's Kitchen by chance. On a busy Mother's Day, the staff were courteous and quick, Food was delicious and hot, and a special request was granted without quibble. We will return.
Yum yum. Mario's is our "go to" place in Tsawwassen. Since the last owners have taken over, it has undergone a dramatic change. The food is consistently good and the prices are reasonable, staff are patient and friendly and the manager is almost always in attendance. The pizzas are fantastic and my absolute favorite is the baked tortellini monterey. Many dishes come in smaller sizes which is great and they also have kids menu. I can't say enough about Mario's, it's the best!
Love Mario's. There are lots of good items on the menu. Pizza is excellent/Greek Salad was very fresh, I was happy that I could order a smaller portion. I have also had the Chicken Quesadilla which I enjoyed very much. Reasonable prices, good quality ingredients and owners who want to please their customers. There is now an outside patio AND they deliver.
New Ownership - Great experience!. Great overall experience! I had a chat with the hostess, from what I understand the original owner bought back the restaurant. It's now BACK and better then ever. My friend is a pasta LOVER and can tell the sauces are now made from scratch, but the must-have is the pizza's with a perfect crust... and overall we had pretty solid service. If you've been only in the past few years, it's worth a re-try.
Despite other reviews we really like this place. We've always had good service and the food has always been great! We've tried a lot of the menu and always been happy. The lasagna is amazing, pizza is high quality and unique and they have these highly addictive parmesan garlic fries. Highly recommended!

Best in town. This is the best place around. Every time we eat here it is great. The staff are very friendly and the food is always good. The pizza is among the best anywhere. This is the busiest place in town by far.
This is decent place to come for dinner no matter the occasion; dates, meet-ups, reunions etc :)

Great food and service as we went there for their happy hour and some pasta. Loved the patio and how cozy it felt and they also had live music as well. I ended up getting their Cajun Chicken Alfredo Linguine and it was a 10/10! (side note: this is a spicy pasta but if you can't handle too much spice like myself, they're able to adjust it to your liking). Their bruschetta and calamari was also very good. A must visit if you're ever in the area! Can't wait to come back!

First time here. Food was very delicious. Server was very nice. She checked up on us, and when we needed more time she gave us space. Food came very quickly. Would definitely visit again.
