Review Le Poivre Noir - Trois-Rivieres

Great restaurant, great staff, great atmosphere. We were so well taken care of by the wait staff. We never had an empty glass at our table all night. The steaks were amazing! Probably a little more expensive than some of the other restaurants in the area but we’ll worth the cost in my opinion.

Very well put together establishment. Great Service and the food was amazing. Downside is the $60-80 per person price. But definitely a fancy place to take someone on a date or to go with you're loved one

Absolutely gorgeous! Excellent services and filet mignon.

Excellent service! Great ambiance. Really cozy place. The food is great too. The only thing I maybe would change is some option for some smaller plate because they're all so huge

A lovely albeit expensive treat in Trois Rivière QC. 45 day aged rib steak was absolutely amazing! Worth the price. Delicious stuffed potatoe with real and tasty ingredients, perfect plate of food. This is a very chic place in my opinion and it was a delightful experience. English friendly menues, very polite and engaging staff.

And I have to say the eggs Benedict were delicious. I wanted to lick the plate. I definitely would recommend this breakfast place if you're staying in the hotel and don't want to walk too far. You get a smoothie shot before your meal, which was delicious. and the inside of that restaurant is just so old and beautiful it's actually just worth going there to experience the inside of that restaurant.

Went on a Thursday night around 7. Nice crowd and no wait to be seated. Atmosphere was very pleasing. Comfortable seating. I had the herb chicken with mashed potatoes and was extremely good. Great portion. The barbq sauce tasted as if was made with bourbon and that's a good thing. The steak was good as well. Was a bit small for my stomach but still good. Complementary bread and salad was moderate. Spent around 50 for a dinner for two. I would come back again.

Great food, service is a bit slow. Quality is always good. Good choice on the menu. Cooking of your meat is not as you wish... I asked again rare, and I received medium-rare. Too long to ask to redo it....
