Review A Taste Of Freedom - Tottenham

Excellent menu and a beautiful 1860's venue with stunning craftsmanship. The host, Carl is so welcoming and attentive. By the beginning of April it should be fully accessible with automatic doors and a washroom for the handicapped, but Mom (who uses a wheelchair) and I found it to be alright for accessibility tonight. Don't miss out on this place and you might even meet one of the well-known ghosts! Enjoy 😊

Went with my wife to celebrate our5 year anniversary. Fantastic place, with an incredible atmosphere and the apps and drinks were amazing. Weekend Empress was so good; I might go back just for that. Even the owner was seen serving and helping the staff, which is what I love about the small town; just so friendly.

Excellent meal. Went on a Friday and music was amazing. Back yard beauty. We got the best of both worlds from outside and indoor dinning: Mussels are amazing and the blackened salmon!! Great place for kids/family to eat

Wow. What a surprise. We moved near the area not long ago and discovered this place by chance while visiting the heritage railway next door. Amazing decor. Friendly service. Great food! A hidden gem. Will be back! Freedom, freedom, freedom ;)

We love Taste of Freedom for many reasons such as it’s wonderful European ambiance, it’s warm and welcoming staff and their indoor and outdoor patios. The menu has an array of great dishes and one of my favourites is the mussels in white wine and garlic as well as the olive appetizer, their homemade soups and delicious salads. A hidden gem located in a beautiful old Victorian home in Tottenham.

Karl and his crew are the most genuine, welcoming, and customer service minded group I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. The food is always fresh and extremely tasty. Highly recommended!

This delightful and picturesque restaurant is truly a feather in the cap of Tottenham and New Tecumseth. Not only is the food always delicious with a menu and appetite for everyone , the interior dining and landscaped outdoor dining areas are beautiful and enhance the dining experience. A Taste of Freedom is now fully accessible, inside and out and a dream come true for anyone in a wheelchair or with any mobile issues. From past personal experience having a restaurant so fully accessible like A Taste Of Freedom in this area is rare and a real treat.
