It was my first time in life to use "uber eats" #UberEats" and was really fast!
Best choise ever to lunch in house :)

Amazing resto with not-so-amazing customer service. I'm not a sushi aficionado so I don't think I can give a very detailed review on the food but overall, I loved the sushi in here, very much. I felt like they were freshly made and the presentation was very nice. Food-wise, I wouldn't complain about anything. On the other hand, I could complain all day long about the service. We went inside at around 12nn and it wasn't crowded; there were only three tables being used aside from our table. There were six of us and we were seated near the kitchen. From the moment we sat down, we were given the order sheet but were not offered water. Usually, in the other restaurants that I've visited, someone will greet us, point us to our seats, give us our menus and bring us water while we choose our orders. In this restaurant, this male server did not offer us water and when my friend asked for six glasses of water, he brought ONE GLASS. Okay, I guess we can share one glass amongst the six of us.. NOT. He eventually brought other five glasses of water, with that bored look on his face. Throughout the lunch, this particular male server did not smile, did not have eye contact with anyone from my table and did not seem like he wanted to be there at all. And this was truly sad since it was family day (and reading week for us university students) and he was dampening our mood. He was very rude when he literally snatched the order sheet from my friend's hand without so much as looking at her.

I would go back for the food but not for the service. I really hope they try to hire servers who at least smile and engage with the customers since this is a business and they rely on their customers' satisfaction.

Went for all you can sushi there 3 times in 2 weeks because it was so good and cheap! Everything was perfect except that one female worker who is always our server. She is super grumpy and seems to hate everyone.

I tried the chili tuna, the chilean sea-bass, ex-girlfriend and the bomb last time at Noka and it was amazing!! the service was also really good and i did not regret to try this new japanese restaurants which is on Bloor street where there are tons of other japanese restaurants in this area only. All in all, good job for NOKA, see you soon again :)

Great Japanese food on Bloor. People go to Bloor street to have low cost for more sushi but quality is not promising? This is not true anymore!! Noka Contemporary is the best Japanese restaurant on Bloor!!!
Good quality of food and big portion of food for low cost!!!

We just had an amazing dinner at this new sushi restaurant. The dishes were creative, fresh and most importantly, delicious. The "beat tuna" was our favorite of three dishes and the go-green was also awesome. Everything is very clean tasting which, for me, is really important in a sushi restaurant. Service was awesome an I think the Bloor street sushi crowd needs to step outside their sushi on Bloor and new gen box. Support some innovative and really amazing food.

So I met restaurant owner Chef Lin of Noka at Kampai  the exciting and tasty sake sampling held by the Sake Institute of Ontario.  We got to talking and I decided to stop by and try his food.  I really enjoyed the dishes but it was the chef's passion that stood o So what was the consensus? Attendees really appreciated the Chef's creativity and passion, including a demonstration of how to make a simple yet tasty house salad dressing. It was felt that with a few adjustments that the restaurant had potential. This was demonstrated by some killer home run dishes like the lamb chop. I provided the owners the feedback and like a true restaurant professional they listened to their customers and made adjustments. If you check their twitter feed you will see wonderful bright red tuna, lightly seared fish and many daily treats. I can't wait to try the seared bonito myself and the other daily specials. ut to me. He opened his restaurant in the Annex.  More accurately he opened the restauran

Noka took risks opening on a strip of Bloor already saturated with inexpensive Japanese joints.   Chef Cheng Lin puts his heart and soul into the menu and it

Not sure why others feel so burned but this place was great! Service was kind and polite. The design decisions of the restaurant are interesting... Feeling like a mismatch between various elements. The music was erratically jumping from jazz, techno to pop though I appreciate it was quiet - most places I have to shout over the music. The ribs, rice, salad, and soup were fantastic. Beef was a little so so but overall all the food was brought out at a steady pace and tasted great. At least as good as any place I ate sushi before. Will for sure come back again with my fiancé.

Amazing. Great service, great portion size and great food. Prices are great as well even before the 50% off. Came in with a group of friends after shooting some sticks. The gentleman who greeted us and served us was a champ; extremely polite as well as tentative. Recommended the eel bowl. 5 out 5 stars. Will be back. Thank you kindly!

The food is great! Warm, fresh, tastes great! The wait staff are nice and the wait time for food isn't very long. The prices are good and if you pay cash its 10% off your bill. My boyfriend and I have been coming here for months. Its our number 1 spot.

Bad service I suppose, waitress was very very clear on leftover food will be charged at full price, and the food arrived at a slow pace. That being said there were no leftovers to speak of. The rolls were great, a lot of filling without too much rice and each roll was delicious. The sashimi was good too as was the cooked food (tempura, shrimp, muscles ect). We only came here because where we intended to go had an hour wait but we were pleasantly surprised that the low ratings didn't match our experience at all.

The food here is decent for an all you can eat. Definitely quantity over quality at the restaurant (the tuna is usually pink, I think it was dyed). The services is pretty good however, as the food comes relatively quick and they typically don't for get orders.

Best during off hours to ensure fast service. The salmon poke bowl was delicious and the AYCE has a good selection if you know what you like. Getting the perfect combination of wasabi sauce and signature rolls gives amazing bites. The water was refilled fast and chilled. Disclaimer: Used to work here.

A good all you can eat sushi place with a big menu. They used to be 5 stars when salmon sashimi was unlimited during lunch but that unfortunately changed and now you can only get it during dinner hours. Try the avocado pizza and the weird ice cream flavours. Overall it is solid and I'd recommend it to a friend.

Was honestly worried coming here with all the bad reviews, turns out the place is great. Food wasnt exceptional, but definitely above average and worth the price. If coming here, try the red bean icecream, i absolutely loved it. Partner and i came in around 5-6 pm this sunday and it was fairly empty and pleasant to eat with some sort of music playing quietly in the background. No idea how its like at other times/days, so take that with a grain of salt. The most pleasant thing about this place was the service. Unlike other "all you can eats", here the servers come to your table really often. As in, a minute or two after weve finished a plate, someone would be at our table to collect it, as well as take more orders. This place does place a lot of emphasis on finishing stuff you order, so be warned. Their food at non-buffet prices is more expensive than youd expect, so if coming here make sure to only order what youre certain you can finish!

Food presentation and taste is awesome. Staff are 6/10. Nice, but don't have much table side manner. Go to eat and talk, you'll have the time in between wait staff visits.
