I definitely recommend this place if you want to go with friends for a beer and sit outside on the patio. I didn't eat here, just had a beer, didn't play any games or watch TV, but if you want to have fun with your friends, this place will definitely be ok.
Has a pool table and whiskey on the rail. Went on a slow Monday and it was enjoyable for my buddies and I. Would definitely do it again!

Reasonable prices, great beer selection, very friendly staff. Crystal is legend. Live music in good weather on Sundays sometimes. They have a pool room, very big patio, part of which you can rent. Corner space on the Danforth with seating out front as well. Great place to people watch.
An absolute neighborhood gem. Rarely do you come across a sports bar that isn't part of a chain these days that overcharges you for everything, Rival Sports Pub is that exception. The place is well maintained, the TVs are new (providing great views throughout the bar), and plenty of space to lounge.
Mixed drinks are watered down here.
Stick to beers and wine and this place is good and economical.

Pretty standard sports bar. Never busy. A really nice family owns this bar, always pleasant. Friends of mine have hosted many birthday parties here and they let you use the downstairs room where the pool tables are etc.
This is my favourite bar on the Danforth. It's locally owned and has the nicest staff. Delicious and inexpensive food and drinks. A wonderful patio in the summer and shows all of the big sporting events. Love it!
Rivals is a friendly neighborhood pub and sports bar. The atmosphere in the bar really depends on who is around. Sometimes you get a country bar, sometimes it's a dance club. The thing that really sets rivals apart though, is the owner Crystal. She lovely. Expect relatively cheap drinks, a límites p
Very nice open, bright place to stop in for a meal or just a drink on The Danforth. Awesome patio as well. Really good food, great staff and customers. Would recommend this place, even for family.

Very friendly lady serving the bar who is always smiling and brings you a bowl of popcorn from their popcorn machine with your drink, good TVs playing sports, friendly vibe, nice, bright and clean space.
