A lot has changed with Woodbine Racetrack. Renovations still happening but fully operational. Racetrack is for the thoroughbred fan. Track is always busy which is a given. A few food options at the track. Indoor and outdoor(grandstand) seating. Always a happening place on race days!

Had the privilege of trying out the new Stella Artois patio on the 3rd floor yesterday. So much fun! The menu is fantastic and the service was excellent. Lots of ambassadors walking around to help people who aren't sure how to place bets. Woodbine remains one of my favourite places in Toronto to spend an afternoon!

Workers are protesting due to a lack of price wage increase. However, the slots, gaming tables and simulcast are still running. A huge addition is being built. Depending on the time of day during the protest, expect a 20 minute delay to get into the parking lot. Drop of your elders near the main entrance before parking. It could be a good Lil walk outside and inside.

Great night. Lots activity, and the slots seemed like they were paying out. Began the night with a wonderful lamb chop dinner at Copperhorn. By the way some of the rooms are now available in the hotel.

I don’t come here often but when I do for the main events we always have a good time. The track and seating are great and the food and drink options are good too. No real complaints overall as it provides a fun day out for sure.

I went to go see the new casino and it was very spacious and packed. They have a connecting hallway going from the new to the old Casino and the old casino was packed. We went on a Friday night. Upstairs where the horse track is, were the old Casino tables were was empty but they're turning that into poker room (tables) around September. Upstairs at high limit they took away all the slot machines but they still have high limit tables that was sort of packed. But the amount of Youth that I seen at the casino is incredible. I guess the next generation is going to learn how to Gamble and lose their paychecks to the Casino's. My total losses for the night was Zero. That's because I never played I just watched my friend play and he actually did extremely well.

A fun day at the races. Lost $45 but our private trackside booth was great. Drinks are expensive. Beef sandwich and popcorn are both delicious and cheap

Fantastic place for a good fun day. Great opportunity to dress up. Many fast food options. There are good drink options for wines, and mixed drinks. The horse racing is fantastic even better when your horse wins.

After the renovation it looks great on the inside! Definitely has a lot of tables and slots. However the roulette tables are hard to get into but they do have a decent amount of them.

Ok, I do love the GREAT turf racing, especially when the Europeans come however, it’s a very “all business” kind of racetrack. Hard to move around as the grounds aren’t very big, not much to do compared to Saratoga racetrack. They are like night and day. Even the massive hedge around the paddock is too high. I wouldn’t recommend bringing children. Would love to see it a bit more family oriented. I have no interest in the casino.

Fun place to go to get away for a couple of hours. Staff are always friendly, courteous, and helpful. The casino is currently going through some changes so a bunch of the machines your used to, are gone. Presumably moved into the new casino area. I'm excited to see the new casino when it opens this summer. 😊👍

Awesome food and amazing service! D.W. was the best server. He was attentive and very personable. Chefs Jay and Ferd came to our table to check up on our food and service. Will definitely come back!

I like how democratic this place is. You can find all kinds of gamblers here. There’s also couples dating, family reunions, friends gathers and just people hanging out. Now for food it’s a different perspective- They used to have a dining area that was good for views but food wasn’t good. I hope they bring back something else with good food options. The area seems to be in Reno for a while now. They still have a good roast beef sandwich in their stands. Not many vegetarian and vegan options outside of the fake food you can get at Timmy’s.

This again seen in movies and my first visit to a horse racetrack. Housed in woodbine casino premises, the race was not in session at the time of our visit. So to get an overview requested concerned to walk through the premises. Pictures do the talking. Hope to see sooner horses on this racetrack too 🐎. Enjoy. Well! 2 months flew by and back at Woodbine Racetrack. This time courtesy and thanks to Mr. Frank, a samaritan and extremely knowledgeable person in this arena. Being novices, basic and necessary inputs by him on nitty gritty of horse races made our visit an memorable and cherished one. Right from the hand outs, how and what to read and see in them, numerology and terminology, speculation and betting, history and fame hall visit, paddock visit, jockey & trainers …well almost an beginners book 📖 spread narrated to us so simply, we took our bets too finally. This racetrack houses almost 4 floors all easily accessible and open to its visitors with spic and span seating and viewing arrangements. I have learnt so much here that instead of narration, would like people to see for themselves and experience. A great show and event so well managed. Stella Artoise restaurant treat and visit to Hall of Fame was an icing on the cake. Both places a must visit. Plan soon and enjoy your visit to Woodbine Racetrack.

Great day at the race track and casino, including a lunch at the Post Parade restaurant (same thing as the Woodbine Lounge). The food and service was great (Thanks Jose!). We had access to a personal tour guide after lunch (table is held for you). The table has a tv monitor of the track, as well as a betting machine and human teller, not to mention an air conditioned birds eye view of the track. We had a lot of fun. On the tour we went to the Paddock to check out #5 Sailors Passion ridden by a female jockey, Emma-Jayne Wilson. I had bet a “win” for this horse instead of my usual Trifecta box bet and won! A huge shout out to Kevin at the Guest Experience desk. The desk will give you a pre-race tutorial on how to read the race program and how to use the machines. Kevin was fabulous and gave us great information which made us very comfortable betting for the first time! Be sure to go an hour before race time!
