Best mango lassi , masala chai and bhel Puri ! If you want a quick bite and are specifially looking for Indian food, then this should be your stop. This place is centrally located and easy to spot. No parking as it's in the downtown area. Portions are good and everything on their menu is great !
Just incase if you want to visit Mumbai and you cannot get hold of your passport.. then visit Colaba junction at Bay street and try their chaat... and you won't feel that you have ever left your home...
This place is a hidden gem in Yonge and college.A small restaurant which can seat a max of 30-35 pax, this place serves delicious Indian food.We visited them for dinner yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed the feast. We ordered a bunch of chaat,a thali, paneer lasagna and tawa pulao.
The service was great and the dishes were served in 10m piping hot.We had to adjust salt in couple of dishes but that's agreeable.
The thali was massive and was he best of the lot.A special mention to their awesome mango lassi.
This is now in my frequent list going forward.
Lovely fusion concept. Had a paneer lasagne which is absolutely tasty and great. The chaat was great as well. Will recommend this place for Anyone who wants to have a unique taste of India.
Stopped here for lunch to go. Ordered chicken kathi roll, came with some potato chips. Made fresh, so took a few minutes. Food was really good, but a bit pricey so it's just a sometimes place for me.
Stopped into Colaba for dinner after work. I ordered the Colaba Chaat. Huge portion of puffed rice lime yoghurt and a bunch of other crunchy bits and seasonings. Its a snack but would be a quick lunch item. I also had the Chicken Tikka skewer. Served on paratha. The seasoning was good but i wasnt happy e ith the cut of chicken. I got a tendon or something in one bite. My friend got the white butter chicken soup with rice. A bit strange but he liked it. The place is decorated really nice though. Service was quick.
