Overall, pretty great on-the-go lunchtime sushi destination. The food is fresh and brought to the tables within 5 - 10 minutes. Usually ask for water with lemon on the side. Decent ambiance as it is quite small, however can reserve booths. Have tried other sushi places around the area and can definitely say that this is one of the top ones on my go-to list. (Love the S5 on the Lunch Menu - Spicy Salmon Sushi & Spicy Crabmeat Sushi, accompanied with a delicious salad + Miso soup)
One of my favourite sushi spots is Sushi Club! When I was in university, I frequented this small restaurant on Charles Street in downtown Toronto numerous, numerous times! It was our go-to spot, especially for my teacher’s college friends and I. It was close to campus, had delicious rolls and sushi, affordable lunch menus, and was a great intimate hang-out spot for us. I was so happy to be returning back to have sushi here! It was even more appropriate as a few of us were reuniting here for a university college reunion dinner too!
