This is a hidden gem of a take out spot in the neighbourhood. Everyone that works there is incredibly nice. The food is delicious. This was my second visit to this family run business. Susan and Alex undoubtedly have preserved an open kitchen takeout concept I first encountered in the 1970's. These small establishments provided working class people an option for picking up a home-style cooked meal of authentic flavours quickly

Today the owner gave me a freezie (with choice of flavor) with my dinner, to which we had a lightsaber fight with. My portion of shrimp fried rice was enough to feed 4 families and was good quality. I rate 10/5 stars.

We stayed across the street so we decided to try this for dinner and it lived up to the hype. They were so nice and so polite. The food was fresh and hot and delicious.

Removed one star because they recently removed the fish and chips from the menu. Yes it's not a typical Canadian-Chinese item for Toronto but it IS an item we could get picky children to eat.
