2nd visit after 3~4 year gap. The food was enough for 3 people. The quantity was good. Had the best Baigan bartha. The charred flavour on the brinjal was on point and the masala was not too excess or less. Amazing ever!
Long story short: Most of the food here will get the job done but be prepared that it can be a hit or miss at times.
In most cases, it’ll be average or slightly above average for the prices.
Visit this place on Valentine’s Day .Seating is less and staff is also less so it takes time for food .This is a complete vegetarian restaurant costs are reasonable but quantity is less and taste is average .We ordered 2 samosas ,veg biryani,Mango lassi ,Veg thaali ,Gajjar ka halwa All these items costed us 38,39 dollars.
I had Chole bhature and it was good not that awesome but ya it was good, they also have a lot of varieties in Indian food and sweets. You should definitely try them.
Good number of selection in menu, quick service and mainly tasty food. For dine-in, the space is small with less seating. So keep an option for a take-out too.
Must try chilly pakora..only if you can handle the chilly heat 😋
From the packing to the quality of food, liked everything. Less oil in the food and tastes like homemade. Ordered 2 thali's and was pleasantly surprised to find different dishes in both the Thali's. My husband and I happily shared. Ordered Tawa Roti for my little one and it was just like mom-made. Glad to find this place.
Ordered a take out for 15 people.
Their special vegetable thali was fantastic and very budget friendly. It had 3 types of curries (of our choice) : Chana Masala, Malai Kofta and Mattar paneer, roti, pulav, boondi raita and Gajar halwa. All of this was too tasty.
But their samosas (not a part of the thali) were the best that I have had so far in Canada!
Our guests totally loved the food!
The people working over here are very polite and hardworking, especially the Manager, Kajal. She even helped me get a duplicate receipt after I had misplaced the original one.
I will highly recommend this place.
Food was very delicious but the service was little bit slow. They could've fast there service but they didn't
Placed an order for pick up only to realize that it was sold. We were told on the phone that there were plenty of large samosas but upon arrival there were not many. Ended up getting medium instead. Overall it was good though.
the best vegetarian north indian restaurant in the GTA! we have been coming to this restaurant for 15+ years now. we have seen it changed from renovations to price changes. and still is definitely our favourite restaurant to go to. it’s full of nostalgia and great food! i always order a thali with sweets. prices are reasonable, staff is nice, restaurant is well maintained & bathroom is decent as well. if you go definitely get the palak paneer or any other paneer dish.
The place has a good selection of quick snacks to thalis and sweets. Freshly prepared parathas served with mango chutney (it's worth a trip for the chutney alone). Quick in service, limited but enough seating. The parking gets full early on the weekends.
I visited this place near closing hour around 9pm and yet it was still busy. The service was fast and efficient. You place your order at the cashier and wait for your order number to come up. The gulag jamun was bomb 💣 and so the chola bhatura. Definitely try it.
