This little tea room is a hidden gem in Toronto! I would have to say it's better than the Empress Tea Room in Victoria BC .
A wonderful tea experience. I have been to mamy tea rooms, but this tea room is the shining star. Warm friendly, informative service. Wide selection of delicious, teas. Great attention to creative detail. Truly a delight to the senses. If you are a tea lover the Victorian Gargen Tea Room is the creme da la creme of Tea rooms. Treat yourself you deserve it.
Today my Aunt, cousin and two sisters all went for High Tea, loved it! The food was yummy and so many teas to choose from. Wonderful afternoon, definitely going again.
Loved the atmosphere. My daughter felt like royaltie. The food was amazing and the service was so great. We will be back for high tea.

Although I have never been to England, this is exactly how I imagined a tea room to be :)! My family and I LOVED the atmosphere of it! We were able to put the phones away and enjoy a nice, relaxing tea party ! Thank you
Felt like I was in England! They even supplied beautiful English hats to wear at High Tea. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The scones were amazing! The shop has great gifts too!
This place is a MUST! I have been going for tea here since I was 6 and it will forever be my favourite place. The owner is the cutest lady and her whole shop is so quirky and cutesy. It is exactly what you imagine a little lady tea party to be. The scones are something i dream about regularly and the jam and whipped butter she makes is to die for. The tea selection is great but I always get the same thing. The food is really good too, great staple British foods. The store front is really cute and she sells lots of awesome stuff - tea cups/pots, tea, dolls, cards, knickknacks, etc. Really fun original pieces. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!
Great Place For An Afternoon Tea!. I enjoy everything Victorian so when I saw this place, I thought that I better give it a try! When I first walked in, I noticed that there was a gift shop with tons of great items; from plates to napkins, almost anything Victorian that you can imagine to decorate your kitchen. I went to the desk and was approached by a lovely woman. I explained that I was interested in having a tea. The woman walked me to the back of the store where there were tables and chairs set up for an afternoon tea. I sat at a table for two and admired the beautiful décor on the walls and on the tables. I was amazed at how close it looked to a formal tea room, it looked great! I settled on the vanilla bayou tea with a warm tea biscuit. The kind woman came back about ten minutes later with a large pot of tea and a warm tea biscuit. The tea biscuit was the best I have ever tried, it was soft and warm, it was AMAZING! The tea was also wonderful, with a jug of milk and sugar accompanying it. I realized after this experience that having tea in a tea room is much better than having it at home. In total, my bill came out to about $8; not too bad considering I was given a large pot of tea with an exquisite tea biscuit, not to mention the stellar environment. Will definitely be back when I am in the area!
