Always a great sushi delivery place. Whether it's Aji Sai or Aji Sai Plus the sushi comes quickly, is cheap and tastes fresh. Is it the best sushi in town? No, but it's probably the best value and delivery.
Half decent sushi. It's hard to get amazing sushi but half decent sushi can be found here.
The chicken karaage is good and the ambiance isn't half bad, especially for a late dinner. It's pretty fast for take out too.
My girlfriend and I will visit an AYCE sushi place at least once per month. We usually make our decision based on distance. I recently wrote a review about a nearby sushi restaurant that I would say is similar to how I feel about this place. I don't really know what makes sushi great? But, I do know what makes sushi bad. This place was good. I would return if I was in the area.
The food is fantastic; a really contemporary menu that's adventurous but constantly satisfying. I eat here a lot, my favourite dish is the salmon tataki roll. The servers are great, too! You can tell they work hard at keeping all the customers happy. This restaurant is well on its way.
Great appys. Neat place. I can't write about dinner since I came just for some appys and a drink. I got the vegetable tempura and spring rolls. The tempura was crispy and the sauce was nice and light. I don't like mushroom tempura but there was only one and it wasn't that bad. The yam and zucchini were yummy.
The vegetable spring rolls were my favorite. Sometimes spring rolls can be a little bland but they were crispy and had lots of flavour.
Of coarse there was my drink... sake sangria! I've never heard of such a thing but it may just be my new beverage fav. The sake adds a little extra kick.
Kimchi fried rice. You'll now find me here Friday evenings at precisely 6pm for some kimchi fried rice and sojo. The soju is a bit of an acquired taste imagine having a martini of vodka and rubbing alcohol. Sounds weird but I'm hooked.
Along with my penchant for Korean I also ordered the salmon sashimi which was refreshing and light. It was a nice combo with my rice food and rice wine. I resisted ordering more since my "accountant" gets fussy when I empty my bank account.
Delicious. Everything was good. The beef tataki was the perfect rawness in the middle and slightly seared on the outside. The meat was sliced thin and came with a sauce. It almost melted in my mouth. Next, the seafood udon stir fry was delicious. It came with shrimp and scallops with melted cheese. The seafood tasted fresh but what I liked was how the noodles were thick and a touch chewy. Both of these dishes were good to eat with a glass of pinot gris.
The tasteful decor, good service and yummy food made for a pleasant evening.

Very Nice Addition. This addition to the aji sai AYCE chain has turned it around into an a la carte restaurant with large sake, wine , and spirits selection, as well as a much larger grilled, fried, and appetizer section then its other locations.
Calling them selves a resto lounge location as opposed to an AYCE was bang on accurate! When we got there there was a live DJ playing, pretty girls that spoke perfect English (if anyone has been to other aji sais mostly fob girls working), and very nicely done renovations.
I went with my boyfriend and another couple and we really enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Had Miso Soup, Grilled Lamb, Beef Ribs, Stir Friend, Beef Ribs, and Grilled Lobster. Everything was Delicious except miso soup was slightly salty but still good.
Also tried their martinis, the unami Caesar was soooo good! we ended up drinking there for a while as they had our favourite sake : Asian moonstone pear! One minor problem was that the AC wasn't working properly and it was a little hot, but I was assured it would be working next time

Peaceful modern dinner choice. I went to this new resto lounge with my husband last night.
the oyster was really good! fresh and not expensive.
also BBQ Squid is a must-order (wonder what soy sauce they use, so yammy), only around $8 but it is a big squid!
