Gol makes Kobideh, the essential Persian Kebab, fresh and tasty and in a generously sized portion, all for $12 plus tax. Even though it was cold outside in February of 2019 with a freakin long winter, it is comfortably warm and humid inside. And since my last visit here, the configuration has been updated (and the packaged foods are no longer for sale) freeing up space for seating inside which was not available previously. Very nice people here too. Enjoy!

Oh my goodness, these kabobs are amazing!! Suuuper friendly service! Awesome plates and actual silverware. They are generous with their dhey and sauces so just let them know if you need more :). Amazing quality, taste, and value for your money! 10/10, would highly recommend!

The food here is Amazing. Taste really good like actual authentic Persian food. The portions are the right size and even the persian style salad is a nice touch. Of the foods that i ordered so far some of them were the excellent and some were meh. For example kebabs (both beef and chicken) tasted really nice like homemade food. Zereshk polo (chicken leg with rice) was just amazing. And finally badenjan stew was just perfect. I should mention that the staff are really friendly and hospitable unlike most of the persian takeouts. Now There was room for improvement about the quality of some of the foods such as ghorme sabzi, gheime and lamb shank in my opinion. Regardless, I strongly recommend this place. You wont be disappointed.

Very friendly staff with fare prices and decent quality. You can find different types of Iranian kebab and variety of homemade stews in this place. They also offer “dish of the day” everyday such as: Kabab-digi, Loobiapolo, Tahchin-e-Morgh and etc.

Yo, let me validate my internet credentials first. I grew up in Vancouver with a bunch of friggin Persians around me and Koobideh Bedeh has become a way of life to me. My friends' mothers would feed me homecooked Persian meals on the daily, and not to brag, I'm the god dang best man for one of their upcoming weddings. Celebrating Norouz every year and just munching on their delicious cuisine has been something I been very fortunate growing up with. I been to most of North Van's most reputable restautants and I even been to the legendary Hameed Dirty Hands which most of you probably won't know unless you're a North Van OG. So yeah, I'm pretty well-versed with the Persians at least as an outsider of the culture. Anyway, for me, a good Persian restaurant's most basic and yet most complex dish is the koobideh. It's the cheapest on the menu, the most sought out for, and the cheapest to make; yet so many restaurants mess it up. My ideal koobideh is one that understands what it is: a greasy bang for the buck meal. When you finish your koobideh, it should leave a strong after taste and your body should smell like it too. Therefore I'm strongly against restaurants that try to make lean koobidehs or ones that try to make it look fancy and reduce the portions. My favourite restaurant for it is Yaz Bazaar in North Van and my brother Soroush's mami's over the grill homemade koobideh. It should be simple, greasy af, and extra tadih on the side is a big bonus. Naturally, I ordered the koobideh at this place and the ladies working there were very friendly and nice. One of them even cracked a funny joke to us. The koobideh was served in a metal tray, the portions were big, and smelled authentic. I had to ask for butter for my rice but she was on top of it with everything else. The roasted tomato was served halved which disappointing because I'm a big boi and I want a whole roasted tomato. The chili pepper on the side was a nice touch. The koobideh itself was really good. None of that lean meat bs. This is a greasy koobideh full of flavour and very tender. Very delicious. My buddies and I are definitely coming back here for the koobideh. The restaurant itself is very small and I'm assuming as their title suggests, mostly serve takeouts. While we were dining, a whole gang of Persian customers were in and out taking out big catering orders, loading it in their cars and vans. That's a good sign for authenticity. My mouth is watering just thinking about the koobideh I just had. According to my buddy who has been here since last year, the koobideh had gotten better. I guess I came at the right time. GOT DAYUM that was good koobideh.

Amazing experience ordering catering for 80 people event! I ordered beef kebabs, chicken and rice for my baby shower and the guests would not saying how amazing the food was.. everything was gone in a second.!! Good pricing and the owner included salads and sauces that I did not expect! Highly recommending for large event takeouts

I've been a regular for almost 3 years and the experience is excellent each time. The service is very friendly and the cooking is varied and delicious. It's authentic Persian cooking has been talked about and referred after I've hired their catering services for a few events I've hosted. I've enjoyed it consistently and will continue to. There's something for everyone to try and I would highly recommend it. You won't regret it.

Budget eatery with really good Persian food. Had the lamb shank. It was really soft, melt in your mouth kinda soft. Didn't expect from a small mom & pop shop like this. The lady running the place was so kind. Gave us the drink complementary

Love this little cutie restaurant because it's Clean, Organized and Simple. The food tastes homemade to me. Humble and Honest service is always provided here. Have used their service and ordered their food for takeout occasions and dining-in also. Quality and Quantity compare to the value paid is great without a doubt. Reasonable prices with good fulfilling amount of food. One of the Top 5 in my GTA restaurant choices.

Quite possibly the kindest, warmest service I've gotten in all of Toronto. The owners of this place are very welcoming and friendly. The food is excellent - suffering none of the blandness problems that other Persian restaurants in the city suffer from. I recommend the Koobideh and Lamb Shank in particular. Portions are amazing. Prices are on the higher side for takeout, between $10 and $15. But the friendliness of the staff, quality of the food, and knowing that I'm supporting a local business in an area where many are being squeezed out by big-name restos makes this place a 5-star location.

I was in the area and decided to try Persian food and order the Kebab Vaziri. I was really blown away as the taste of the kebabs and chicken were perfect. They were both very juicy and well seasoned and cooked over charcoal. By far the best kebabs I have had in GTA. In addition their saffron rice was soft and cooked to perfection. This hole in the wall is definitely worth to get take out food from.

Super fresh food and amazing taste. This is the best place to eat persian food at affordable prices. Very kind hearted people and they make amazing food. I would recommend to try this takeout place. They also have a good place to seat about 7-8 people. The lady at the counter was probably the owner who really loved to serve people Good luck to the team.

The food here is amazing. It's always freshly made and it has that great home-made touch. Portions are huge too. Go on Saturdays and pick up "tahchin" (one serving is easily enough for two people) and enjoy a chicken filled, fragrant, beautiful Iranian dish!
