Always charming and one of my favourite places to pop into when I'm in town visiting my daughter. P.S. the Blueberry Lavender scones with Devon cream are heaven.
Awesome experience at the Scullery today. Not only did they have a high chair for my 1 year old son, but they went and got it for us and brought it to our table. Plus the coffee was excellent and they service and other clientele were really pleasant. Thank you!
The Scullery has the best scones on the planet! 🌎
Amazing brunch, coffee and baked goods. Lovely atmosphere.
This feels like a charming small-town cafe, despite being so close to the bustle of the downtown core. Good coffee, great baked goods! As a bonus, the staff are very polite if you've forgotten the difference between a latte and a cappucino again.
Also, they have free wi-fi for customers!
A solid huevos rancheros. The real deal with the flavourful refried beans. They’re usually not my favourite part of a huevos rancheros but here they are light and fresh.
So I finally got the hubby to stop calling them tea biscuits after we came here. (Seriously, what is that?) The Scullery is lovely little spot, I have been craving a good scone and tea for a while (well alkaline eating is all about balance right... 70/30 and all that.) This definitely hit my British spot, their cream tea rocks. Just do it.
The Scullery is an adorable cafe that serves delicious weekend brunch. It's been a great addition to the Cabbagetown brunch scene, as it offsets the many local pubs with fresh, slightly healthier fare. I love the huevos rancheros and the breakfast tacos and eggs benny have all gotten high praise from those I've dined with. On top of that, these guys make a mean chai latte and I can never leave without a few of their delicious homemade cookies. Also of note - they open at 9 a.m. on the weekends so you don't have to wait until 11 a.m. to eat.
