Place is cute! And food is good. They mostly serve dessert. Tried their sweet potato latte because it's something you cannot get somewhere. It's sweet and just taste milky. Something i will only try once tho. Their ice cream and cake are something I will recommend!
There was one server for the cafe and she was friendly. This spot is where you bring your friends who love cutesy whimsy. Decor is sugary sweet with a large Hello Kitty & paper pink hearts covering florentine style white columns.
We had the sandwiches; one egg & potato salad toasted on white and the other tuna salad toasted in white. There are no other regular sandwiches in the menu but they do offer bagels with cream cheese or chocolate spread etc. We ordered the Princess Waffles which comes with choice of two ice creams and fruit.
good cafe experience i had here... so nice and fun... i liked the complete infrastructure and the armosphere they had... my wife and kids enjoyed well...
I love their waffles, but make sure you get it with ice cream, my friend got a waffle sandwich and there just isn't enough filling, it was very plain.
If you come with others, they will make everyone get something unless the plate was "made for 2", example, a piece of cake is only for one person... So they will ask the person you're sharing it with to also order something...
It's a really cute place, but I don't like the"rules" there.
PS they will also charge if you wanna play their board games.
I went here for the first time and I loved it. Lots of variety on the menu, mostly cakes, waffles and ice cream. They also have bubble tea, iced coffee etc. I didn't try any of the drinks so I can't say. The desserts were great, I went with my brother and boyfriend so we tried different things. The waffle wasn't doughy, very soft! The ice cream was smooth and not overwhelmingly sweet at all. I loved every bit of it especially the free wifi and the home-y feeling I get with all the couches and coffee tables. The wifi wasn't all that good but it's okay because I didn't need it. Def recommend!
A quaint dessert restaurant that is located on the second storey of a building at Yonge and Finch. I have come here a few times for the cake and coffee, and it provides a nice ambiance for conversation -- it is a more relaxed atmosphere so you can spend some time there to chat and just hang out rather than be rushed out as soon as you are finished with your drinks and food.
The food itself is okay, the cakes and drinks are decent, I guess what is great about this place is the environment, varied seating configurations with couches, tables with benches, and tables with chairs / couches, and availability of games.
Café Princess' atmosphere was a chatty, yet calming and relaxing place to be. There were more customers than I expected because it was quite a small place, but very cutely decorated as well! I could see that they tried to imitate the princess theme, but also more leaned towards the European style of cafés.
I ordered the princess waffle plate and they served it very well, with my chosen flavoured of ice cream. From what I remembered, the ice cream were much more like a type of sorbet or shaved ice instead. It was very delicious though! The waffles came out crisp and fluffy. The whole dessert was very appetizing. I also ordered the matcha latté; very warm, milky, and tasty. I wish they gave a larger cup for the price of it though.
The price range was alright, it's not something I'd go often though, maybe once in a while just to enjoy it. Like chatting with a friend over coffee or something along the lines. It was a very cute experience and I really do love it! 👸
"Couples" atmosphere, pricy menu, decent beverages, great desserts, dirty washrooms, and terrible service. I would only recommend going to this place if this is the last resort you can find for mediocre food.
Hands down to their waffles!!! So far, haven't found any dessert place that can compare to Princess cafe's fluffy waffles. I also like that they let customers stay and hang for up to 2 hours.
Cute and comfy place to wind and relax. I like the decor and the couches. The menus are handmade and cute(though i could draw way better princesses on the covers). The desserts are very good, although the prices are steep. I've been here a couple of times, and so far have tasted the mocha milkshake, oreo milk shake, chocolate yogurt parfait, the princess platter(choice of two cake slices, two scoops of icecream) and it was all excellent. The only problem i have is that cafe princess charges 2.50$ to play their cards and board games! I'm sorry but that's a ridiculous fee to charge a customer. So instead of tipping, i just let them charge me for the games. Overall, a nice place despite being really stingy with their games.
Though a bit pricey, they've got some unique selections. Their sweet potato latte is fantastic. Friendly staff, just a nice place to relax with friends, board games, or your laptop (free wifi).
This place also offers board games to borrow and play at the cost of $2.50. There were a mix of couples of small groups of friends chilling at this place and it was fairly quiet. It’s probably a good thing I don’t live closer to this cafe because I would definitely be gaining some major weight from all of my waffles-gluttony. :P
It’s a stereotypically girly and pink café located on the upper level of one of the restaurants at the Yonge and Finch intersection, making it very convenient to stop by for some dessert or tea after work to catch up with a few girlfriends or play some board games on a rainy weekend. They offer a good-sized selection of bubble tea, hot and cold drinks, waffles with ice cream and/fruit, cakes, and sandwiches & bagels. There are large comfy sofas and coffee tables placed throughout the open space and resembles someone’s living room.
Everything in the cafe is mostly pink and very princess like.
The chairs and sofas are really comfortable and teddy bears are placed beside the windows.
Girls would love this place and it is great for dates.
I think I enjoyed the dessert here more than Demetres, I really liked the waffle!!! It was much better than I expected and I want to eat it again when I see the picture :9 The ice cream flavours were Cookies n' Cream and Vanilla. The best part was there were nuts within the waffle itself too! I had a little bit of the cake and it's quite good too, the strawberries weren't sour : ) The food is a bit cheaper in comparison to Demetres. The environment is also much more comfy to sit around and chat after eating.
Once I walked in, I was immediately over-whelmed by asian(korean)'ess. It was filled with asians (surprisingly good mix of Korean, Chinese...etc) everywhere with couches hidden around the corner. They were def going for the intimate, girly and relaxing concept and it worke
...one word to describe "Cafe Princess" is girly (hence a great place to chat and gossip!)
I fell in love with Princess Cafe as soon as I stepped in. Their are large luxurious sofas placed around the quaint cafe that feel like you’re sitting on a cloud. The only problem with this is that to enjoy your food, you have to lean over the low table which is a pain after awhile. They also have regular round tables if you want something a little more practical. My friend ordered the Iced Honey Jin Citron because she was a little under the weather. She had it before when it was hot but never tried it iced. I had a sip of it and it was amazing! I can’t quite describe it into words but it has a sweet ginger, lemony taste that’s a bit like lemonade. It’s one of those things you have to try yourself! I had a plain old Iced Cafe Latte that was bland in particular and didn’t have enough sugar. It’s not even particularly strong coffee, it tastes
Following a delicious dinner at Yuzu Izakaya, Stella and I headed to Cafe Princess (5590 Yonge Street) just next door for desserts and coffee/tea. Located in Koreatown North, it was very much the cutesy and cozy cafe I wanted it to be after having indulged in Korea’s cafe culture over a year ago now. The decor, the couches, the music, the menu options – all worked pretty nicely together under the ‘cafe princess’ theme! :)
PRINCESS MOFFLE (RICE CAKE WAFFLE)
Two choices of ice cream and fruit $10.28
We were both really curious to try this combination of mochi and waffle – it was definitely as chewy as you’d expect it to be! I enjoyed it a great deal but I’m not sure if I prefer it to regular waffles or not. In any case, this is a great dessert to share for two people (or have on your own if you’re really feeling it, which I’m sure I’d be able to do :P). We got our choice of two different flavoured ice cream scoops: green tea and cookies & cream.
RED TEA LATTE $4.78
I had never heard of a red tea latte before. It’s not overpoweringly sweet and the texture is gentle. At the time I just assumed it was red bean-related, but apparently it’s from Rooibos tea? I enjoyed it~
This place also offers board games to borrow and play at the cost of $2.50. There were a mix of couples of small groups of friends chilling at this place and it was fairly quiet. It’s probably a good thing I don’t live closer to this cafe because I would definitely be gaining some major weight from all of my waffles-gluttony. :P
