Our Saturday morning visit was done, and we were in the mood for something diner-ish for lunch, so we stopped in at this Wimpy’s which we had been to several years ago. This is one of their smaller locations, but there were a couple of tables open when we got there.
SWMBO chose the Junior Burger Melt, which has been one of her standards. There’s something about grilled onions and melted cheddar cheese on a burger patty that gives her a satisfying bite.
I opted for the Western Omelette. This was a reasonable version, with onion and ham. However, I do prefer my Western Omelette to also have green peppers, just to give it a bit more depth.
Went there for dinner and the food was good. Although it is a diner our server did little things to make our experience feel more like fine dining. She was great
Pretty good..... The breakfast was pretty good. Not quite what I was expecting. I ordered the hamburger steak and eggs. I was expecting fresh ground beef patty but it was a pre-fab slab.
Everything else was great and the folks that I was with really enjoyed their meals. Will give it another shot if the opportunity arises seeing as I am not from the area.
Hungry? Why wait! If your craving a burger look no further than the nostalgic Wimpys Diner. The burgers I kid you not are the size of a pancake! The plus is that you get bang for your buck! Very affordable. Aprroximately 6-8 dollars depending on if you want cheese and bacon. Service was great too. Wimpys also has a very affordable and extensive breakfast menu too. Highly recommend you check this one out. 4/5
The Breakfast is Really Good!. A 50s style diner serving the classics, plus a wicked breakfast.
