Some of the Most Unique and BEST (Dinner) food in the GTA. I don't know what all these mediocre reviews are all about as this is the ONLY Chinese restaurant my Portuguese husband is willing to go to. When it comes to Chinese food, I don't usually go for the service primarily, I go for the FOOD. Chinese restaurants are not usually known to have superior service (unless they cater to westerners) since they share the tips.

That being said, looking at the menu online from https://www.zomato.com/toronto/full-house-chinese-cuisine-scarborough-gta , I can see why most people overlook this restaurant in the reviews.

I don't usually go here for Dim Sum so I can't comment though the times I went, the food was fine.

What I come here for are the Unique dishes that other Chinese restaurants do not offer. Their Sauna Shrimp and Sauna Clams being one of their most well known dishes that doesn't even show up in their general menu. Their many different varieties of fish soups (like fish soup with tofu, fish soup with papaya), Lobster with Garlic Bits, Whole chicken in Herbal Soup, Pork (neck) & mushroom with green onions, steak & walnuts, Pan fried Sea Bass, the different Oyster dishes, the unique appetizers.

THIS is the reason why this restaurant is packed and not just because the food is cheap and people are set in their ways. My husband grew up in Portugal where he appreciated Quality and simplicity in food and that's what we find here.

Check out the pictures there and you'll see what I mean. The dishes are NOT what you'd typically find and that's why it's a hidden gem.

Dim sum places in this area are closing left and right. This place is okay, nothing special, but it's good. It's not cart dim sum it's the check mark dim sum. I usually get Hahm Soi Gokh and Ha Cheung, as well as Law Mai Guy
