Ordered for dinner and was satisfied with the freshness of the salmon sashimi and the proportions in the avocado roll, which weren't full of rice. The edamame were a little soggy but otherwise good--tad expensive though. And slow! Delivery took a full hour even though I ordered early (like 5:30). I'd hate to see how long it would take when they're busy!
Freshest & most delicious!. This has become our newest go to local in Toronto. The sushi is the freshest we've ever had and we take all of our friends here! The staff are very friendly and accommodating.
All of the items on the menu have a unique twist and the flavours are super fresh. Can't wait to go back!

So delicious!. Been living on/ around Roncy for about three years and never bothered going into Sushi on Roncy. Big mistake! My boyfriend and I just had an amazing meal! I ordered four rolls for delivery. They said it would be about an hour, totally fine with that, since other sushi places on Roncy have taken about the same amount of time. It was worth the wait and the presentation, even in the take out boxes, was beautiful!
The kamakazi roll was absolutely amazing, and the gentleman who delivered the sushi (possibly the owner) was a sweet heart!
I had no trouble ordering over the phone either, they got my order in one shot :)
Hoping to go by tomorrow for some more deep fried rolls!
Friendly service. I was offered tea while waiting for my take out order. The quality is great. The sashimi was very fresh.

BEST Sushi EVER!. I live in Whitby with friends in Toronto and I always make it a point that we eat at Sushi on Roncy. This is honestly the best sushi I've ever had. The seaweed is nice and crisp, the seafood is very high quality and, duh, is tastes awesome! My favourite would definitely be the Go Train Roll, it's absolutely delicious. I LOVE Sushi on Roncy!
So great, we ended up with cancelled plans for my b-day, decided to go out, and had the most amazing time, food is artwork, staff friendly and although the decor is lacking the taste more than makes up for it, and well priced a real gem on Roncesvalles!
Awesome. This place is awesome: the staff are friendly, the place is clean, the food is healthy, the ambience is excellent, and the prices are inexpensive. I go there five days a week.
Just opened. I guess it's been a week or 2 now, but they are still working out the kinks a little. There were 3 of us and I had to wait a bit for my meal, but it was delicious. Everything was good - sushi rolls, tempura, donburi (granted it was the first time I've had this dish). Their big plus is that you can eat in!
