One of the rarest Indian cuisines in downtown Toronto. I am so glad that it has vegetarian options available as well in take-out.
We liked the homely cook flavour as my wife is pure vegetarian. I like to thank chef of Amaya for decent food. Specially Kari Pakora was nice. Paneer was not so spicy and even our baby ate well. Thank you so much
I had chicken biryani during lunch, and it was decent. Kind of North Indian style, spices nicely mixed. You can go for it if you are craving for Indian food. But if you want to try Indian food, you may opt for other better restaurants to know the better taste of Indian food. 3.5 is generous rating for the taste of chicken biryani
Tried Samosa Chaat and The vegetarian thali for lunch today.The Samosa Chaat was huge and a bit tangy but tasted good enough. The thali was okayish with dhaal,paneer masala and shahi paneer.The tandoori naans were super soft but once they go cold become rubbery!
The price is a tad expensive for a food court eatery.
A nice Indian cuisine outlet. They have less options in gravy. When we went there, they were out of naans which was disappointing.
They provided salad complimentary. The staff behaviour was good though the manager was a bit rude!!
We ask them to spice up the gravy, they couldn't do it but they provided hot sauce. So that's OK!!

The Eaton Centre caf has many options but this place serves up some delicious Indian fare. The food is flavourful and cooked right. The butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, and the naan are really great.
I decided to try out Amaya at the food court at Eaton center and i was not disappointed. The quantities are more than enough for one person and the quality of food is pretty decent. The butter chicken is my all time favorite, the chicken biriyani is pretty good too. The servers are more than happy to help you make a decision depending on your taste and spice preference. The prices are reasonable and the service is good.
