Love their dosa's. Especially the masala dosa.

The mutton briyani was below bad. 99% rice with spices that barely tasted like the name and a few small pieces of mutton.

Taste of India. This restaurant has been open since the 90's, no matter what time you go, there is always people getting food. Great food, great price, lots of variety. It is truly a taste of India.

Delicious Samosas. The veggie samosas are delicious, and go really well with both the sweet and spicy sauces they have available. $1 for 5 veggie samosas, $1 for the sweet sauce and $2 for the spicy sauce. Good prices for tasty food.

5 Samosas for $1. The heading says it all. This is what Samosa King (which I call it by, not realizing until now that the actual name is Embassy Sweets) is famous for. I've been coming here for ages, for their tasty, massive, deep-fried puffs of samosas. I buy enough to freeze and they are always good as fresh after a few minutes in the toaster oven. Tastes best with some Thai sweet chilli sauce and sesame oil as dipping sauce. Their $2 specials (3 vegetable curries with rice on Tuesdays and maybe Fridays) is great value (I like the chick peas and the one with green peas). Service is always speedy and great. The desserts look fascinating to me and the few I have tried have been pretty good too.

I've only ever ordered food from the take-out portion of the shop (having never even seen the inside of the dining area) so I can't say anything about the dining experience there.

Notable for samosas. I have bought a *lot* of samosas along with the "radioactive green" sauce over the last few years, as well as the very nice roti.

These represent the "value proposition" that cause there to be continuous line-ups at the takeout counter.

The lines move quickly, and they're continually bringing in bins of additional samosas, as the stock disappears.

I have dined in a couple of times, which is a bit more expensive (they charge rather a lot more to deliver samosas to your table!), but it is still very reasonably priced for some tasty Indian cuisine.

A wide assortment of south & north Indian cuisine. More famous for the cheapest samosas in Toronto. Not a bad place for inexpensive good quality food and sweets.
