Clean, cozy Café with a great selection of Sandwiches and coffee.
I got the Bombay Veg Sandwich, loved the combination of the veggies and the bread. Was a little sweet for my palate but great sandwich!
Reasonably priced.
Stepping into Delica Kitchen feels like you've been transported to London or Paris, fulfilling owner Devin Connell's goal of inspiring that chic European feel, "even if it's just for 15 minutes." In fact, if anything is amiss in the vision it's the stark Bodoni type on the walls with phrases like "when eating a fruit, think of the person who planted the tree", "get to know your food", and the classic "as for butter versus margarine, trust cows more than chemists".
The detox chicken soup and the roast beef and Brie are the go to items. Also the "Jammie" pastry is out of this world. It's fast and all the leafy ingredients are added when ordered to keep things crisp. Just a good spot for lunch that never disappoints
First visit was last Thursday (May 2nd) and was very surprised. The house smoked Applewood pork shoulder was the "Carnivore Creation" that day. Since I love a great smoked meat, figured I would give it a shot. Expecting a standard chain smoked sandwich, I was very surprised to taste the definitive smoky taste of a true smoked sandwich. The horseradish aioli was evident but not overpowering. Looking forward to their next creation.
LOVE IT!. OMG. I love this place. Have lived in the area for 2 years and never knew about it. Everything is delicious!! obsessed with the Parisienne sandwich.
Mango Pistachio with Yogurt Frosting Drizzle – Hello, Mango! We were very happy with this donut. The mango flavour is strong but not over powering. The roasted pistachios and yogurt drizzle just balanced out the fruity sweetness. The only issue I had with this is that you miss out on the pistachio flavour sometimes because the crushed pistachios aren’t always evenly distributed around the donut
I ventured to Delica Kitchen for a quick lunch right before my spa appointment midtown. The tiny restaurant was quaint and charming, specializing in quick, healthy lunch fares. I imagined that if I live or work around here, I would come here a lot for lunch! It was a cold, cold day, so we opted for a piping hot cup of chili, which was aptly named the Heart of Darkness . The chili was rich with generous chunks of hand cut beef and b lack beans. If I would've been very full had I eaten the entire cup. The restaurant offered an assortment of pre-assembled sandwiches. Most of them can be reheated, with certain panini style sandwiches are pressed in the grill. We took a long time to decide on our order. In the end, we opted for the Parisienne : Smoked Ham, Gruyere cheese, Bosc Pear, roasted garlic aioli, and Dijon on White Flute. I was not disappointed with the sandwich. The ingredients tasted fresh and wholesome, and the mustard added an extra tang to the flavour profile that really elevat
The shop is a pretty, clean, modern-looking small space, all white tile, classy font signage, and black counters, behind which stand friendly black-clad servers, ready to ladle out soups, grill and serve sandwiches and hand over baked goods. All the items
