This is one of my favourite F&C places. It's a very tiny shop, and if you blink, you're liable to miss it as you go by. There are 3 cramped seats inside, and a couple of picnic tables outside.

The fish is always fresh, and the batter is SUPER crispy. The fries are the right thickness and cooked perfectly.

The portion sizes are very good, and you definitely get your money's worth.

It was delicious! This place is antique and cozy. It is very small but me and my boyfriend dined in anyway lol would go back again!

Best in town. Bad reviews are a part of the restaurant business but this place is just plain amazing. Try it out

Finally fully sated with photography and styling, the crunch was audible as I sliced a piece of the fish. Perfectly crunchy crust and soft steamy halibut always make me lick my lips and seek another piece. It was good to know that my gut instinct about Harbord & Chips were spot on.

I am not a big fan of fish and chips, but Harbord Fish and Chips is definitely an exception. My Canadian friend brought me to this hidden gem. It is a small fish and chips place run by a Chinese couple. The fish is deep fried to golden perfection, especially accompany with the tartare sauce. Typically deep fried food is oily but this fish and chips was out of the ordinary. The portion is huge so I recommend you to share with a friend.

This unassuming little chip shack on Harbord houses one of thebest fish & chip shacks in the GTA. The current owners have beenthere for about a decade or so, but the place has been around foraround 30yrs or so. It's a neighbourhood institution. The place is tiny, just a couple of counters with stools inside and a few picnic tables outside. The interior's drafty in the winter and hotin the summer. They also don't serve alcohol, which is too bad.But this is a fish & chip shack, not Momofuku! The fish is great(I order it lightly battered, at least until they came to know me by sight) and the portions are more than fair. They're cash only, I think, but they can point you to an ATM nearby.
