I'm not Canadian. I'm a New Yorker. But I had the luck of working with them as a delivery man for four days. So from my experience, I know the inner workings of the restaurant. First of all, they are truly clean. Not just the dining hall, but inside the kitchen including all the dishes, silverware, etc. Second, they are good people. Most of them are young and skillful. There is a great spirit of teamwork along with well organized division of labor. To me, their cooked food is amazingly delicious. I would definitely recommend Issmi to my friends.

Very good sushi, sashimi and roll
Best sushi joint in the area and we've tried them all. Sushi is fresh and really well made.
Just went to this place with 6 friends.. Amazing food, if u want fresh sashimi and sushi this is the place... Staff was friendly and attentive ... Bit pricey but u get what u pay for!! Ordered legend dragon roll, kamikaze roll, tiger roll, o-toro sushi, salmon, hamachi, wild salmon, scallop sashimi, seafood yaki udon, sushi pizza, soy paper roll, yakitori, tempura
Great Japanese Food!. Issimi is a very unique restaurant. The staff are nice and courteous and the food is outstanding. Their sushi is amazing and their chicken teriyaki is outstanding. Their prices are fair and the portions are sized well. Honestly I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!
