Wow wow wow. I love this place! The food is always served hot and it keeps coming. Delicious food made fresh at every serving. You order on a tablet throughout your meal. It’s all you can eat. Lots of parking in the back. Best to reserve ahead of time, very popular spot with lineups. You sign in on a tablet ( very automated efficiency here). Just love this place. Service is wonderful. They are here to make sure you eat well and are satisfied. These folks really hard, on their feet all the time and moving. Thank you for your great service and delicious food. Everything looks wonderful. I always ask for the food without the sauce and it’s so good lightly seasoned. Great place to meet with friends or smaller groups. Wonderful. You will not be disappointed. Well done Sushi Legend!

都值得食既All You Can Eat,不過要小心落單
75 for 2 lunch😥
回頭率:umm..有陰影,但確實食物ok,不過如果剩係lunch menu又冇咁吸引。Dinner又貴得濟我地食好少,唔值🤔再諗諗
Out of all the AYCE sushi spots, this hands down takes the cake. Quality of the sashimi is to die for, maki rolls and sushi rolls are top quality as well. This is very well my favourite sushi spot in Toronto. Service is exceptional, quick & efficient. Staff are well mannered. Really recommend Sushi Legend.
I'm very picky about my all you can eat sushi places and this is my top 2 favourite place. Go for their scallop sashimi, stir fried shrimp, stir fried beef with garlic, and other cooked foods. Note that the scallop sashimi is only available at dinner time on the weekends.
Love this place for All You Can Eat Sushi!! It’s a great place with a good variety on the menu. We went here for lunch on a weekend. It’s best to go before 12:30 as it gets packed really quickly. Loved all the different kinds of rolls especially the Sexy Summer Roll and Dynamite Roll. I usually order the beef or seafood ramen as well. Loved the Eel Fried Rice even though there’s not much eel meat in the rice. I would get the Rock Shrimp and Beef Enoki Rolls as those are my personal favorites from this place!! There are a variety of desserts too and soft drinks are included. Staff are efficient and friendly most of the time!! Overall, great dining price and would definitely be back for sure!!
Our family friends highly recommended the restaurant and I also read fantastic reviews on Zomato. Just to be on the safe side, we made a reservation before heading out. The restaurant was easy to find with plenty of parking in the plaza. To our surprise, the restaurant was packed with customers waiting outside. It was a Thursday night and we didn’t expect to see it at full capacity.
Definatly consider getting a reservation if coming on weekends or holidays. Told us it would be a 25min wait but in reality it was 45 min wait. Food was excellent and it was nice to see a large selection of vegitarian options. Service could be improved as we were getting dishes we ordered the first time around after we had ordered and eaten dessert.
First time at this ayce. Small, cozy clean and staff where attentive. Everything we ordered came and quality was good. Enjoyed the house special rolls and would recommend and return
As far as AYCE goes, this place is top notch. A little loud around dinner time, but the quality of the food and the friendly staff make up for it! I was especially impressed that our whole order came out over the course of the evening (nothing forgotten or changed).
Highly recommended!
So many items to choose from on the menu and service is amazing! Food comes very quickly, everything you ordered arrives (some jap buffets don't give you everything you order in an attempt to save food thinking you over ordered), and empty dishes are taken away quickly. I highly recommend the scallop sashimi, beef tataki, and scallop sushi. All their sashimi is also super fresh and tempura is well-made! Make sure u go early so u don't wait for hours!!
Best AYCE Sushi. This is by far the best AYCE sushi place.
They have good service and the rolls and sashimi are amazing!
Coming here tomorrow night dinner ! =D
Good Value and Nice Sashimi. I have been here a few times as I know one of the owners and some of the servers (all of whom had previously worked at restaurants that I frequented). I found that the prices at this restaurant were very good especially for a senior such as I. Three sashimi items that I liked a lot are "Herb White Tuna Sashimi", Beef Tataki Sashimi", and "Scallop Sashimi".
I could do without the maki. The herbed white tuna was pretty good. Not very strong, but has a distinct taste apart from that of white tuna.
sake mussels: don't taste like sake. standard mussel taste.
My angel roll and crazy dragon roll tasted almost identical - pretty standard "special" rolls. Volcano roll was not as special as other reviews claim it to be. It also wasn't presented particularly nicely. Sexy summer roll was refreshing. Tastes like a Vietnamese cold roll with mango sauce on it. Good thing about the maki is that they come in orders of 4 pieces and the pieces aren't very big. Rice to filling ratio is decent.
Tempura was standard. All of it. Crisp, but not amazing. This also goes for the agedashi tofu.
Kalbi also standard.
Sizzling flounder and salmon head were pretty good. Not amazing, but pretty good. I'd order them again.
The shrimps for the stir-fried shrimp are pretty decent sized too.
The sashimi was pretty standard - taste wise and quality wise. They were pretty decently sized too. The mackerel was pretty good.
Desserts:
The mango pudding is pretty good. It's mango pudding on the bottom and a thin layer of condensed milk on top.
The mango yogurt is better. It's white on the bottom with a layer of mango puree on top. Stronger mango taste than the pudding.
Mango sago was not bad. Needed more mango taste though.
Assorted fruit jello means whatever flavor of fruit jello they have on hand, not fruit-flavored jello with assorted fruits inside. Today's flavor was orange.
Really good stuff:
Beef negimaki: small rolls. good because it means I get to order more variety. thin beef. green onions inside. tasty. crisp.
Curry pork skewers: two skewers. fairly small. crispy outside. curry powder, so not the coconut curry so prevalent in Asian cooking. tender pork.
Chicken heart skewers: Sauce is really good. Chicken hearts chewy in a good way. Don't taste heavily of innards, which is good.
Stir fried beef dice with garlic:
Tender beef (not tenderized until it doesn't taste like beef). Garlicy. Slightly salty. Done really well (not well-done as in how cooked the beef is). Actually tastes like beef. And it's all beef. It doesn't have the onions, mushrooms or peppers as filler.
Rock shrimp: These things are really big. Bigger than an Oreo big. Tempura battered, then covered in a mayo sauce. Totally worth it, both on the all-you-can-eat side, and also on the a la carte side ($4.95/6 pieces).
Decor: Well, it's a new restaurant. It's nice. It's clean. It's a lot more modern than a lot of Chinese restaurants.
Service:
Pretty good. Orders came quickly, for the most part. Nothing (that I recall) got dropped (in terms of orders). Waitress knocked down one of our mango puddings while she was putting it on the table. She picked it up and set it back on our table (after the condensed milk had come out all over our table). She did not replace it with a new one from the kitchen. My mom chose to have a la carte while the rest of us were having all you can eat. They forgot to give her tempura sauce, so she used ours. When they found out she didn't have one to go with her a la carte tempura, they brought her another one, even though we had said it was fine that she used ours. Their reasoning was that the one they brought for her was fresher, hotter, and therefore would taste better. That was considerate of them.
10% off coupon: these things are in Chinese newspapers and magazines right now. The one we had expires at the end of June. In order to use it though, you have to pay cash.
Verdict:
Would I come again? I would, but probably not for all you can eat. Now that I've tried everything, I figure I can eat the majority of what I want to eat (rock shimp, negimaki, curry pork skewers) under the all you can eat price. Well, no. I'd come back for all you can eat if someone paid for me. =)
Definitely the best AYCE sushi place for its price. I've been to it both lunch and dinner, the dinner is definitely worth it.
Their sashimi selection is really interesting, they add their own spin along with the usual cuts of fish. And the rolls are beyond your usual dragon rolls at most places.
I would most definitely come back here.
A like for this place. I went twice here. My favorite AYCE sushi place so far. I tried the Yuzu salmon sashimi which was really good. I dont usually eat white tuna but they make it in a different way with slightly grill the outside and put some kind of herb taste (thats what they call it). they serve all sashimi in a proper temperature. I also like they have variety of cooked foods. will try again.
Wow, so much variety. Coming here is definitely a treat for the taste buds and our eyes. I recently reviewed Ten-Ichi and just like that restaurant, the quality here is decent.
Decor:
It’s a little on the dark side but I feel that AYCE restaurants do this on purpose. They might want to use dark lighting to deceive customers into thinking their food looks awesome. Jokes aside, the place is separated into booths and are quite comfy to sit in. Once again the wind barrier architecture system is poorly built, a few booths near the entrance will feel strong gusts of wind sweeping in from time to time. My recommendation is to wait for a better table or come in the summer lols.
Service:
Honestly not the very best but like I said the restaurant is run by Chinese people. I read reviews where people complained about how slow their service was in the “seating” portion which makes total sense. We arrived on a Thursday night and tables took forever to be cleaned and there was a couple begging to leave but the staff neglected to bring them the card machine. I’m going to tell you the truth about Chinese people – they usually work from opening to closing and there are no such things as shift work. So most of them (from what I think) are probably worn out, which of course doesn’t excuse their tardiness but this restaurant wasn’t THAT bad. After we ordered the food, 90% of our orders were met and those dishes came within 10 minutes of us filling the form. Service is not their forte so please make a note of what you ordered beforehand.
Food:
Wow, so much variety. Coming here is definitely a treat for the taste buds and our eyes. I recently reviewed Ten-Ichi and just like that restaurant, the quality here is decent. I think they had a few misses especially with the following: asparagus wrapped beef, miso soup, and fried chicken wings. It’s not that they tasted bad but your stomach would appreciate other food than being stuffed with something so average. Now these are my personal recommendations: shrimp (I forgot what type), ribs, mushrooms on skewer, udon, and the dessert (ALL KINDS) really did scream amazing. A lot of people come for the beef tataki but if you have tried this at Guu then unfortunately you will be disappointed. The food was generally quite good and offers favourites that are different than Ten-ichi.
