Quaint pub right on Kingston. Reasonablly priced and friendly staff.
Got the Vegetarian burger, was surprisingly quite good. That with Sweet potato fries and a Chipotle Mayo dip.
Loved the ambience, would definitely visit again.
Great service at this place! Sat at the patio and we had 2 ladies take care of us throughout the night. Very friendly and attentive. The food was pretty good here.. I ordered the fish and chips with sweet potato fries. The servings were huge so I had to take an entire piece of fish home. Great experience at the stone cottage
Classic pub, that's been here forever!
Ok pub grub, friendly staff and a decent pub style atmosphere. The restaurant is clean enough and the beer is cold..
New to town, this is a place that stood out when driving to and from work. In the midst of plazas and car lots, stands a beautiful, stone cottage. I couldn't resist! . They have a large parking lot and patio. On the outside and inside, there are plaques giving you the history of the place. Both floors boast a large fireplace. The loft is also available to be rented for private parties. This place is bigger than you think!Â
Great building, great people, great beer, great wings!. The Olde Stone Cottage is exactly the right mix of classic and modern. Architecture and fireplaces that go back to Confederation co-exist perfectly with a clean and modern pub. Friendly staff and locals, lots of great beer on tap and, oh yeah, the best wings in the east end. Do yourself a favour and drop by.
Great food and entertainment. Been to the Cottage many times, great local pub, diverse menu and great service. Nice home style atmosphere and some diverse entertainment. I've been there several times to see "The Hackits" play and had a GREAT time!!!
Great food, great music...who could ask for more?
Really Impressed. My husband and I were in last night for the first time in a couple of years. First off I really like the overall feel of the place. It is an old building, I think it is a heritage building - and has a tone of charm. The decor really ascents the cottage feel without going overboard. it's not overly crowded, but you get a nice sense of community - like a real local. overall very clean, comfortable and charming.
As for the service, while we didn't get greeted right away, we made our way to a nice table near a large stone fireplace and a server was there in a moment to get our order. Kailey, was great - fast friendly and attentive.
Food and drinks - they actually had more than the typical 4 pub wines - i had a nice new world malbec and my husband had a killlenny. The menu came next and again it looked a lot better than most pubs - a little less selection that the chains, but most of the items looked like they were "home made". We ended up going with a couple of the specials - which were outstanding.
Overall we had a great time and will be back again.
