My husband had a pita wrap and I had a platter. I have dietary issues and they were very nice about accommodating. Place was clean and friendly.
Excellent eating experience.. from walking in the door and being greeted by employee, I ordered a chicken shawarma and a chocolate cheese cake and it was take 5 minutes to serve excellent service. Meal was served is excellent taste. Server was very friendly and helpful.
Delicious Shawarma! Had an amazing shawarma at a shawarma festival only to realize that this is the same place I had the best falafel from 3 months ago! Extremely authentic food. The meat was incredibly juicy and perfectly marinated served by an overwhelmingly friendly staff. The only disappointing part is when the food finishes!
Good food for a reasonable price. You get any shwarma for $5.49 or 2 for $9.99. Food was tasty. Tomatoes not cut properly but ok. They charge an extra dollar for tabouleh
Went here for a Chicken Shawarma on the recommendation of a friend that knows how much I LOVE Shawarma. Prices are super reasonable at 2 pitas for $8.50. Service is very friendly and accommodating. Turnips? Check. Juicy chicken? Check. Homemade hot sauce? Nope. Two out of three essentials of a superior shawarma ain't bad. I would go back for sure if in the area.
Killing a chicken shawarma right now and it's amazing. It's juicy, spicy (I always add hot sauce), extremely flavorful and just goes down right. I got everything on it except raw onion.
Definitely coming back and bringing my wife next time.
I stopped in here for lunch and got the chicken shawarma plate. I stopped because the reviews were good and the food did not dissapoint. The place is unassuming from the outside but when you go in you can tell it will be good. The staff were really friendly and quick to help. The food was wonderful and you can tell it's homemade. Probably the best shawarma I've ever had and the value for what you get is great. The shawarma plate came with rice, potato salad, tabbouleh hummus, pita and pickles all for $10!
Johnny's Shawarma: Great food, Great service. I've been to shawarma places all over the city, but after I visited Johnny's, it's the only shawarma place I've been going back to. Their food is amazing, be it shawarma, falafel, or any of their plates and their sides, you can't go wrong!
To top it all off, the owner and the workers provide the best service; they treat you like family! I always feel welcomed at Johnny's.

Mmm. Co-worker of mine recommended Johnny's after me drooling over his delicious-smelling shwarma, so I brought my bf along after work. The owner is super friendly & wow! the food was amazing! So flavourful & very inexpensive!! "Addiction Guaranteed" is right!! We will 110% be back!!

I used to go to Johnny's when I worked late at Blockbuster on Midland Ave. Service is good, the food is good and the price is okay.
Heeere's Johnny!. What makes Johnny's Shawarma a great place to eat is Johnny himself. He genuinly enjoys making sure all of his customers have a great meal. My wife and I have driven across town on more than one occassion to grab a "quick bite" at Johnny's Shawarma, not because he serves the best Shawarma's in town (though they are good), but because we always leave with a smile.
The best part of Johnny’s? Johnny. The owner of the store is genuinely interested in making all of his customers happy and will gladly talk up a storm with you when you come in.

Tucked away in a strip plaza at the corner of Kennedy Road & Ellesmere, this little dive isn't the most visually appealing place to eat, but the presence of Johnny, the owner, gives the small eatery a unique character that you won't find in most restaurants. Everytime I walk through the doors I feel like I'm meeting up with an old friend. Johnny's chatty, but not overbearing, and always serves with a smile. His food isn't bad either. I always order combo #7 - A beef shawarma with a side of fresh cut french fries and a can of pop. There's always beef and chicken roasting on the spic at Johnny's.
