Okay, you have no idea how pleased I am to be writing this review. For a long time I was under the impression that great Roti and Doubles could only be found in downtown TO or in Brampton. Both very far from me. This place however is right on the way to Humber College where my son goes to school. You can bet we will be going here A LOT come September. We went in just with the thought of trying out their Doubles. I ordered two and we sat down to enjoy them. In a word... perfect. I was so impressed I had to order a Roti and some more Doubles. We took it all home and it was gone in short order. Even the wife liked it and that, is saying a lot. So, in short, if you want great Doubles, home made hot sauce and awesome Roti, you got to check this place out!

Went here on Mother's Day for brunch not too shabby interior and quite a variety potatoes, pumpkin, chickpea's, curry chicken, and more. Would definitely go again worth the drive also had the snack size chicken roti which was pleasing to my liking.

We went here for the weekend brunch that we had heard a lot about and we weren't disappointed at all. All the dishes were good and even though I am a big non-veg lover, I was actually concentrating on the veg dishes for a change.
The mango curry is to die for! Don't miss it!
Service is a bit sloppy though. They should keep an eye on the dishes running out in the buffet.
Overall though, great place! Must visit!

Drupati's is this small Caribbean/Trinidadian restaurant that has locations across the GTA. The place here is rather large and you order by going to the back counter. The menu here offers up lots of West Indies staples like doubles, roti, jerk, etc. My friends wanted to come here because my buddy just got back from his wedding in Jamaica and was craving "Bake and Shark", which he didn't know extended into Canada.

We found this place because it had popped up with Bake in Shark, which is essentially a sandwich with fried shark meat and peppers with toppings. They use roti skin and it was actually pretty good here as the shark meat was thin but flaky and crisp. 

I had to get a double and had mine with chicken too. The double was amazing. The bread was so fluffy and it had just enough curry and chickpeas where it didn't overwhelm the bread nor the really tender chicken chunks. 

My main was actually fried chicken with fried rice and lo mein noodles (please don't ask why because I don't even know why), but it was a bit of a disappointment. The chicken was actually decent, while the noodles were good too, but the rice was bleh. I definitely should have used that money on either the Bake and Shark or another double because those things are so damn addicting.

The food here is pretty good, and some of the best Doubles I've had in the Greater Toronto area, if not the best. The prices are pretty fair and standard, while the place itself is rather nice (at least this location). They have some lunch specials and daily specials on a board, but I'd keep to the original menu.

Best doubles ever. I am not a huge fan of their curry and roti but was really blown away by their doubles. I ate at the Scarborough location not the Rexdale spot.

I am a Trini native, all i can say is that whenever i am craving doubles, Drupatis is the ONLY place i go!!! Been going there for years, since i was a child, and i love the food there. Of course wont ever be like home, but it is the next best thing!!!!
