Loved this place!! The food is customizable, excellent takeaway and combo options! They have both vegetarian and non vegetarian options. The butter chicken was scrumptious with roti and rice. Highly recommended for indian food lovers!
We had “extra hot” butter chicken roti and our mouths burned! It should be called “nuclear hot”.
So go for mild... EVEN IF YOU ARE INDIAN! The portion size was nice and service was quick as well.
This delicious roti restaurant is right on Queen West across from The Great Hall. The Butter Chicken Roti menu features classic Indian dishes with a contemporary take.
LOVE their Butter chicken roti!! It is an absolute MUST try and i am sure you will keep coming back ... Whenever I am in toronto it is my assured pit stop. Not to mention their portions are so worth the price!
The roti is really great, definitely will come back again. However, points deducted for their spice level ratings and the service regarding spice level. They will argue with you (although with good reason) about the spice level of your choosing. Order a level below your preferred spice to avoid that issue
Masala fries are very crunchy
I've eaten here often in past 3 months. Good tasty food. Masala fries is a must try. My fav. is Malai Kofta roti. Their signature Butter Chicken Roti is really awesome. For vegetarians you can request to replace Chicken with paneer (cottage cheese) in Butter Chicken Roti and they'll happily do it for you. Staff is good and friendly. Prices are good and quantity is also good. One Roti is good for 1 to 2 people if your appetite is not big. Caution: the fresh made Roties are extetemly hot from inside so wait for little while before first few bites else you can burn your tounge! And watch out for spice levels. We always order mild. Over all good experience. Will recommend. Will go again.
If you want to taste real Indian food, Butter Chicken Roti is the place. Just a word of caution, unless you love very spicy food, try low spicy versions of the dishes as the spicy ones are extremely spicy. Loved the food here. Will definitely visit again.
Visited Butter Chicken Roti while on my way to another restaurant and decided to pop in which turned out to be the best decision of my day. Had their signature roti, the Butter Chicken as well as the Chicken Saag which were both delicious!
I've tried many roti's in the Toronto area and truthfully this was my most tasty experience yet, though it'll cost you. A tad on the expensive side but worth every penny.
Don't expect a traditional Caribbean atmosphere here, which in my opinion doesn't matter because the food is totally authentic. Highly recommend.
Happened to walk by and thought it would be great to get some take out. The place is roomy and lots of tables to sit and eat. Ordered the Curry Chicken Roti with mild to medium spice. The portion is huge. It was too spicy for me...should have ordered mild. Good flavour and the roti was nicely made. Next time will try their famous butter chicken roti.
Roti as big as your head. While Butter Chicken Roti is famous for ... Well, its butter chicken roti .... It is definitely worth breaking the mould and selecting an alternative from their huge menu of roti choices. Lots of #vegan and #vegetarian options, which is happy making, also, don't leave without sampling their Masala fries #thebest. Be forewarned; however, their spice levels are challenging. Medium is about an 8.5 on the fire level, while mild is disapprovingly offered at a "no spice" level. Ordering mild will get you some eye rolls and snark from the counter, as well. I suggest the medium-mild. Points deducted from the rating for the judgey attitude from the counter when ordering re: spice level. Too bad, because their roti is awesomeness.
