We were visiting family and they took us to one of their favourites. It happened to be wing night - half price if I recall - and they also had a special on draft beer (it was early). The service was a little shaky - the server kept getting our drink orders wrong, but the wings were tasty and sufficed for a light meal.
This is such a hidden gem! Absolutely love it! Everything is fresh & the staff really do accommodate you the best they can!!!! It's amazing because it's totally like a place you would find downtown...but it's not!!! Which is so much better because I hate downtown. Food is so good- from everything I have tried! I highly highly recommend this joint :) also it's a really pretty space. I would recommend it for parties etc.
This is a big giant sports bar and it's a a nice spot. Friendly staff. Better than average food -especially their meats. Obviously the owners of this place care. Only drawback is beer could be a little colder (they don't have a 'Sub Zero system which a place of this size should have. In any event, it's the best place to go in this part of town.
The house smoked wings were finished in a smoked Korean BBQ sauce and finished with sesame seeds — perhaps this was why these were called Smoked “Gangnam” Style Wings. That is definitely a head-turner and makes you want to order it to try.
I really liked these wings! The smoked Korean BBQ sauce was tangy, a little bit sour, with a tiny bit of smoked flavour and spice.
Great place to catch a game. Food is good. Lots of seating with televisions everywhere. They also have smoked meat as well, great wings, pulled pork and brisket.
I don't know if I just don't understand sports bar timing, but this place is always empty when I go! Works for me; we get our pick of wraparound booths and quick service. I've had the jambalaya and the nachos, and they're both excellent.
Pretty good food. Decent prices. Really good wings. Great tv situation for sports. Waitress might be retarded. She is the absolute worst. Just completely clueless...
Where to DINE now. I am craving smoky comfort food. Southern cooking and backyard barbeque seems to be all the rage these days, and when it's good, there is nothing better. I would drive just about anywhere for it. Just like down south, where the most incredible bbq joints are tucked away from the main streets, we need to go off the beaten path for that lip-smacking good stuff.
Introduced to Toronto restaurant, Rally Sports Bar + Smokehouse, at the Toronto Delicious Show, I was seduced by a jambalaya. Chock full of chicken, shrimp and chorizo, the jambalaya is Louisiana's answer to paella, and Rally's answer to, "what can I eat tonight that is hearty and flavourful?" Oh, it's got a kick--but the spice is not overpowering, and a fresh confluence of flavours is picked up in each spoonful of rice.
The slow cooker is the star here, and the wood burning bbq punctuates the menu. Poutine of thick cut fries is enlivened with smoked cheddar curds and peppercorn brisket. "You can turn the heat up, but you can't turn it off," co-owner, Chris Papadimitriou tells me. In-house made bbq sauce is so tangy, and the vinegar in the sauce really cuts the sweetness perfectly. As the pulled pork sandwich arrives, my Pavlovian response ignites, and with each mouthwatering bite I sink into bliss. Back ribs are cut with some of the loin attached so they have a lot more meat on them. They are indeed very lean and meaty; and slow cooked and smoked to that tender charcoal essence that we love.
Another southern staple is the "po-boy". I can honestly say that in all my travels down south, I never had it so good. Rally's shrimp Po boy sandwich is light and crunchy, and loaded with plump shrimp. There is not one miss on this menu, and the Po-boy is the quiet over-achiever.
My focus does not leave my plate, but just in case I didn't come here for the food, I am reminded that there are over 40 big-screen HD TV's that display every major sporting event every day of the year. On Friday nights, martinis are $5. Snacking on my shrimp Po boy, sipping a martini and watching boxing, UFC, NHL, MLB, NBA, NFL, or UEFA would be A.OK with me!
My sweet ending is a luscious southern peach cobbler served in a mason jar and, for good measure, one warm velvety chocolate torte. Even the espresso is rich and bold. This is not your average sports bar. Rally Sports Bar + Smokehouse is a food-centric destination run by people who are serious about food...and happen to love sports.
Really nice place, and good food. The only thing I would suggest is not ordering the burgers. The burger I ordered was the Rally Burger. Great tasting, but the patty was the size of a child's burger. Not worth the $14.
Nice little gem. Great to find a place to watch the game that isn't a chain. Tons of screens, nice servers and good food to boot. if they added some games tables, expanded the draught list and turned up the volume on the game (just a hair) this could contend for best sports bar in Toronto. Will definitely be back.
Great bar with an awesome atmosphere. Met one of the owners who was more than accommodating when we asked to watch a specific game. Will definitely be back!

Brunch is Incredible. Just went this morning to Rally Sports Bar and Smokehouse for brunch. Can I say WOW!!
Seriously, no joke. The Pulled Pork Benny is too die for. Absolutely mouth dripping delight.
The chef came out to greet us which I thought was great. The server was extremely helpful with the brunch menu as well.
People you have to check this place out for brunch. It's certainly the east ends hidden gem.
My family will be back for sure. Thanks Rally for a mothers day brunch!!!
Been here a few times, let me start off by saying the food is amazing. Always satisfied with the portion sizes and the taste makes you want to come back. The place is nice and big, lots of tv's can't miss the game anywhere you turn there's a tv. Good vibe, very friendly staff and great service. Will continue going.
When the five headed monster consisting of Gus Papaioannou, Sam Pasalis, Tony Vlachos, Chris Papadimitriou and John Matheos decided they wanted to open a sports bar they werenât about to open just any sports bar. What they created surely meets expectations. Rally Sports Bar and Smokehouse is, as they say, âAll that.â
