Fast, clean, straight up Thai fare with good veg options conveniently located close to the Kipling subway served by courteous staff. Pictured is the Ginger Tofu and with rice - delicious!
Leviathan. A mere $300 a year?? I deliver for a Thai restaurant. We have customers who eat in, take our and have their orders delivered. Your paltry spending is a joke. My regulars spend that much in a single month!
Stay home and order pizza, or better still, buy your own rice and learn how to boil water..
I am certain that the staff of Taste of Thailand are ecstatic to see your backside!
Best Thai food!!!. Amazing! My wife and I eat out a lot and including frequenting Thai restaurants. This is simply the best Thai cuisine and some of the best food period. Grilled talapia in peanut sauce is delicious, as is the spicy noodle with chicken, the asparagus and mushroom, and the vegetables in peanut sauce. Even the spring rod were fresh and tasty. We will be back!
Great Thai!. Great food, nice ambiance, friendly & polite staff...an overall great experience!
The complimentary deep friend banana at the end of the meal was a nice bonus.
Fantastic authentic Thai food. Great prices and service.
The food was very testy. I really enjoyed the crab rangoon and pumpkin soup is the best soup i have ever had. Pad thai had a perfect blend of sauce, shrimp and vegetable. Atmosphere is great.
Great tasting Thai at reasonable prices. Recommend the green chicken curry, curry pad Thai and basil chicken. Coconut soup is also delicious.
TRY THE CRAB RANGOON APPETIZER!!!! You won't regret it :)
DELISH. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!
Eat in or take out, AWESOME authentic Thai food! The waitstaff are so cheery and provided good service. They always checked up on us and refilled our glasses.
MUST EATS:
Golden Curry
Deep Fried platter with spring rolls, taro rolls, and shrimp rangoolam (?)
Amazing Thai at a Great Price!. I was there for the second time last night and I have to say I was greatly impressed yet again! For a group of four walking in and ordering take out it took less than ten minutes for our food to come. It was wonderfully prepared, each dish was incredibly delicious and all four of them contained and great deal of protein (for example my shrimp dish had over a dozen individual pieces in it) Taste of Thailand has very quickly become one of my favourite restaurants in the area, and I would suggest it to anyone in the area! Definitely a wonderful meal for a great price!
Tasty Option Near Kipling Stn!. Kipling Station is a virtual wasteland where food options are concerned. It's either a burger joint, Timmy's/Wendy's, and other fast food chain. However, Taste of Thailand is a beacon amid the "options" above.
I went for lunch and there are specials up to 3pm. (You may have to double-check as time isn't listed on website.) Most prices are $7.95 and they come with a veggie spring roll + delicious sweet soup - tasted like butternut squash/coconut.
I had to Green Curry Chicken and my mate had Veg Pad Thai. Both really generous portions. The Curry was very flavourful with a nice punch of heat! I only tasted a bit of the Pad Thai, but it seemed to have good flavour too - without ketchup taste.
Overall, with service/atmosphere, very good experience! Would recommend to anyone stuck in that area.
Quaint location, service is average, food is excellent, recommend the curry pad Thai.
Chicken fried rice was delicious. Good price good food.
Good spot for take-out Thai. Just tried take-out from this Thai restaurant for the first time tonight. I chose this instead of my regular spots even though its further away, because it's open until 10PM where most other Thai places close by 9. I still wish it was open later though. I got Chicken Pad Thai and Thai Green Curry Shrimp. The Pad Thai was not overly sweet, had a generous portion of bean sprouts and peanuts without any real heat. The green curry was flavored well, with strong taste of coconut milk and a spicy kick (Well, spicy for me at least, who isn't someone that eats alot of really hot foods). Flavors were spot on, broccoli in the curry was a nice touch, but I'd lose the bell peppers. They add nothing to the dish and seems rather inauthentic. My one minor gripe is that a couple of the shrimps still had a bit of the vein attatched, so I had to finish cleaning them by hand. Long story short -- I would definitely visit again. Each dish was about $10-$11.
I am a huge fan of Thai food. It was my second time going to Taste of Thailand Cuisine for dinner and I forgot how delicious it was there! Located by Dundas St West and Kipling in Etobicoke (just outside GTA Toronto), this place is always busy at lunch and dinner times. It's definitely a local favourite for many.
