This place is not a fancy restaurant, but definitely is good Turkish restaurant; I strongly suggest mercimek corba, doner kebap and ayran topped up with firin sutlac 😉 Prices are moderate and recommended.
Profound people, great food. Definitely a place to eat and have a good time. Their setting and atmosphere is great for families. They also have an amazing chef and his name is Emrah.

The food at this restaurant is by far the best turkish food iv ever had, i feel like im back in Istanbul when i eat here. The chicken kebab is my favourite dish, iv never had chicken so moist before. for the appetizers the best is the cigar burek as well as the multi dip platter. Very good service as well.
I've visited Kebab 49 several times. Meets expectations. Great food, great value. Friendly staff, however, when gets busy they seem a bit disorganized.
Well firstly I’d like to mention the AMAZING customer service. All of the staff were nice and could understand well. The food was also good. Over all it is a FANTASTIC restaurant.
Best of luck
No word can describe the excellence of this restaurant...we ate iftar in it...despite the rushing of order at iftar time, the service was excellent and the staff was very professional and friendly
Regarding the dishes, 7 stars is not enough to judge it. It's the most delicious food that we tried in GTA, very similar to our original Iraqi dishes
Thanks alot for them
The service is good and the place seems a bit trendy. Cool! The food is pretty good but the mixed shawarma I had was a little dry and ordinary. The standout here though is the fresh-baked bread. It makes any sandwich much, much better! The bread alone is a reason to try Kebab 49. If I can find a tastier protein then I'll bump up the rating.
The food is amazing! .. great Turkish food comparing to the Turkish food I had else where in the world and I think it is the best halal food in town
There are few things I don't like but I will still give 4/5 rating because the food is second to none.
Can't wait to go there again.
They are good. Have very nice varieties. They give food quickly too. Nice food joint. Their lamb mince pie is delicious and filling. They have other types as well.
The only place I go to when I'm around the area. They've renovated the restaurant and is now bigger and has more space to sit. Love both their lamb and chicken doner! The sandwich is enough to fill you up .. And the bread is *thumbs up*. The dinner plates are quite pricey but worth. I always say that I will try their pides but always end up getting the chicken doner plate as to it is my favourite! Service is great and will continue to keep coming back!
Kebab in toronto. Perhaps it will be an understatement if i will write here that this is the best kebab place that I've ever tried in toronto... but its really worth the try to see the difference. I also like the place and service in Kebab 49. its worth the trip!
Super hot food.. Super hot guys.. Food was amazing and delicious. The server and cook are very handsome. I feel like going down on knees and pray to receive those "Huge Kebobs".I always come here to buy food just so I can droll over those super sexyArabic guys. My personal favourite is that one with the beard. Surely makes the best Kebobs. Ay que Rico!
Amazing food gigantic portions. Orderer lavas bread and chicken doner... massive amount of food! not only that but the food was some of the best ive had!
Great Soup. I love this lentil soup! Make sure you use the lemon wedge they add to the order because without that little shot of lemon the soup just wouldn't be the amazing experience that it is. It comes with a full side of bread this is a very filling and satisfying meal for $5.00!!
Best kebabs in Canada !! I like it
AMAZING!. The $5 lamb sandwich is amazing! you get so much for the price. Highly recommend this place to everyone.
Authentic and FRESH Turkish food at a great value. If you are out to seek the place with the true taste of Turkish cuisine, and care more about the freshness of the food than how comfortable the seating is, this is definitely the place. As mentioned elsewhere, you can pay a lot more money to Anatolia for comparable quality of food and for a larger selection of dishes, but if it's just to satisfy your tastbuds, you can't miss with this place.
Their $5 sandwich is a better bet than the same-old burgers and fries, and their full dinners with rice and salad is big enough to share between two people. Order the Lamacun or the soups to make it an even more varied meal.
Their wood-burning oven brings out some of the freshest bread you could expect from any restaurant, and I have become totally in love with the idea of consuming meat with a topping of fresh yogurt.
The staff can sometimes seem a bit disgruntled, but I am seeing new waitress there that has made an improvement. Keep on improving the customer service; because your food is already top knotch! One thing I do I miss ordering from Anatolia is the smoked eggplant with lamb.
Definetely best Turkish pide around. Well priced and tasty. Ground beef pide is my favourite...Soup with veal cheek meat is unexpectedly good. Desserts are not authentic unfortunately.
Excellent food. Well priced. Come early or take it to go because its a small place. Well worth the wait!
You're Simply the best!!!. This place is truly the best Turkish Kebap shop in the whole city. Yes, you can go to Anatolia restaurant and spend $100 for your meal... OR........ You can go there and find a lot of the same food for less than half the price!!! The food is great, friendly service at all times. I wouldn't really recommend any dish, as they are all good.
What a find!. Ever since I was in Istanbul last year I have been looking for a place in Toronto that had Turkish food just as good! Well, this place comes darned close. Their wood fired oven produces absolutely amazing bread, steaming hot and very flavourful. Try their adana kebab, even their salad is above the average Mediterranean standard. And the price is amazing for all the food you get! This is going to be my weekly dinner spot.
After work I decided to try something different and I made my way to kebab 49 I had no idea what the food was going to taste like till I ordered adana urfa kebab. Incredibly amazing never expected something this good not only that the plate is so big it can easly feed 2 people. Restaurant is very clean amazing staff fresh meat what else can you ask for it only cost $11.. I will recommend all my friends and family to try it out
Fantastic!. Really great food! You can tell that it's freshly made, and the flavours are authentic. Delicious, healthy food that's reasonably priced too. You can't go wrong!
Delicious Döner! We randomly stopped here for lunch and it was excellent. Good bread, juicy lamb and the right kind of yogurt-based Döner sauce. Very friendly service.
Very small location, the parking is a nightmare on a weekend but its worth it. I hear its run by Kurdish people from Turkey and they do a nice job serving up lahmbajin, pide, kebobs and much more. The lentil soup is great. We love it!
