It is a very cozy place. The waitress are very kind, considerable and easy going. My friend and me are very enjoy the atmosphere there. The couch is very comfortable as well
Went here with my sister in law for a bonding and gossip session over what was a large plate of sweetness - "East Meets West". We loved every bite of it! The serving is massive so make sure that thats all your order if you are not a heavy eater! The ambiance is classy and service is friendly .. I surely recommend a visit here
The Fudge Brownie Cheesecake was also a big winner. It wasn’t very big — especially not when you compare it to the carrot cake, but it was very, very rich and dense. The cheesecake itself was light but because it was under the fudge brownie that was very dense and rich, the entire mouthful turns out to be rich and dense.
I love symposium for its awesome desserts and dessert-drinks so on that end its a 5/5 for me. But I have to say the service was not good. Our waitress seemed new at the job so I was ok with her being a bit slow and she was polite at first. When she brought the bill and we asked for it to be split in half she became standoffish and visibly annoyed. Also , using two cards to pay one bill is not allowed??? Wtf is that all about - that's unheard of in any other restaurant. Anyways, onto the desserts. I had the ice cream sundae on top of a warm chocolate chip cookie and that was delicious. The best thing I ordered was the raspberry milkshake - AMAZING. Just fix your service please.
After our meal at Ajisen Ramen, we headed next door (literally two steps away) to Symposium Cafe where we had dessert and drinks. I have also been to Symposium Cafe before, but at another location and for lunch. This time, we focused solely on the dessert menu! ^_^ . This location featured a smaller area than the one up on Yonge Street north of Steeles. Since it was night time, the place was kept very dim for the atmosphere. It makes for a nice romantic dinner place or also a party like we were. Unfortunately, because we were a large group, they didn’t have a table big enough for us so we had to split up to sit in three separate booths.

Perfect Time, Great Lunch, New Fan!. Service was impeccable, food and drinks amazing. This place is newly opened, with a beautiful Renaissance mural interior, cozy chairs, and great ambiance. Perfect for business meetings or getting together with friends.
I tried their Chicken Parmesan Sandwich with a side of fries. Arrived hot and quickly, only waited about 10 minutes for the meal to come. Which was great as I was on lunch from work, and needed to be quick. The sandwich was amazing, I believe a must try for anyone!
They also have huge specials all week long, which is interesting. When I arrived I was told it was Martini Wednesdays, 31 different martinis for only $4.25. Ummm Yes! Will have to come back after work and perhaps make this a regular until I got through all the martinis at least haha.
Also, when entering you will immediately notice the huge cake display. Don't come here on a diet, indulge, as their cake selection is huge. I tried the Sky High Carrot Cake, and let me tell you, it was a meal in itself. I took it to work with me and shared it with 3 other staff members. My new favourite cake, cream cheese icing, cranberries in a carrot cake batter, and walnut crust. I think my heart just stopped, but in a good way.
Overall, really enjoyed myself, and I believe if you enjoy selection, great desserts, fantastic service, and a HUGE, I mean HUGE alcohol selection... This place is for you haha.
