order house special soon tofu medium spicy and pork bone soup with my partner. The soup have some seafood and beef and the rice along with the tofu is delicious and smell soooo good
The best Naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodles) in the city! I'm glad I don't have to drive to Cho Sun Ok in North York anymore.
Restaurant is very clean, and the owner & all the servers were very nice as well.
I definitely like this place over other korean spots in the area. I usually order their soontofu soup or their mulnaengmyun with galbi. Their prices have increased, so for the naengmyun combo it's almost $21 plus tax. Their ribs are definitely nice and thick and they give u much more than you would at other korean places. It also comes out in a sizzling plate.
One of my favourite spots for a delicious authentic Korean meal at a very affordable price. My husband and I usually share a combo meal plus a regular dish and it's plenty of food for the two of us. The ladies who run the restaurant are very nice and attentive.
I've only been to Tofu Village once and it was a memorable meal. They served a lot of side dishes. The cold noodles were very refreshing and authentic. The male server was friendly and attentive. Will return again in the future.
My place for Soon Tofu soup. Great food, never disappointed me. The prices are excellent. No need for me to go elsewhere for this delicious tofu and rice combo.
The best.... Korean food! What a gem Toronto has; the food was fresh and the service friendly.
If in Toronto, it is worth the drive to the Koreatown area to experience this place. Get a hot pot dish! We (husband and I) weren't disappointed. Now we hope to find a place just as good in Atlanta.
I love the combination option! good taste of the rice and tofu soup
A Warm Bowl of Korean-Style Love. I stumbled upon this place when searching for the best in Koreatown for my Toronto Foodie Journey, and I like to say; it was worth it. The food and atmosphere was friendly and comforting. The side dishes that come along with the main meal we're most incredible, my favs we're the sweet marinated yams and the the firm tofu slices with black sesame seeds. But the main attraction was the Soon Tofu Stew itself which contain surprisingly fresh and whole seafood items from shrimp to clams. And the spices we're perfectly soothing to the sinuses. Would come back in a heartbeat during a cold and nippy day as meant to be.
Wasn't sure about this place with very few reviews and a perfect score, after giving it a try I just had to rave about this place and give it not one but 2 thumbs up! Must try the Seafood and tofu pancake 02 absolutely slamming and the bulgogi beef and all the sides was absolutely perfect, service great ! Definately a repeat venture

The dish had a nice balance of fresh veggies and the raw egg ( this time pre cracked and served in the hot-pot) once again cooked into the rice instantly. The stone pot gave the rice a nice crispy texture as it continued to cook as we ate it.
.... It was delicious but boy was there a lot of tofu. The food was mediocre nothing outstanding.
Gumjatang a.k.a. Pork Bone Soup, is available at many different places, but few do it as well as Tofu Village – House of Soon Tofu. Along with the plethora of side dishes, this may be the best deal in the city.
