This place is like our second home. So happy to have this place in our neighbourhood. Great food, even better staff- happy to call this place our "local"
Sat on the patio and had drinks and some apps (nachos and bruchetta). The food was yummy and the drinks were cold. I will definitely go back again.
We are in the city just for the weekend & The Jason George is near our B&B. We stopped in for some food/drinks & we were not disappointed! Delicious food, decently priced & friendly staff. The wait time was faster than I would have expected at 5pm on a Friday, they were busy. We came back later that night for a few more drinks & our experience was the same. Highly recommend!
The Jason George is what I like to consider my must go to pub in Toronto. They've got great food, atmosphere, friendly service and an awesome bar. This place definitely epitomises what pub grub should be.
The Tuesday burger specials are my favourites but when it comes to having regular items my favourite is the Jerk Pork Burger. We ordered this along with the roast beef sandwich with jus. Both were brilliant. The jerk pork burger has a great mango tomato salsa with the right amount of heat. The roast beef is rare, super soft and has so much flavour.
Each meal is good for one person and better when sharing. Even the side items like onion rings and fries are good.
The Jason George without a doubt is the sort of place which could feature in a tv show or movie as a popular hangout. Must dine here
Consistent dependable pub food with some appetizing daily specials. Today I had one of the daily specials - BBQ pork with onion ring sandwich with a side of brocoli cheddar soup. Tasty and filling. A beer list that gives a reasonable selection should satisfy most. Interior décor is a bit dated and quite dark but in keeping with the style of restaurant. Lunch for three with draft beer was approximately $65. Lots of parking (paid) in the area.
Pub grub, burgers, and good food! Great place to unwind and relax with good company in a chill atmosphere. The patio also looks like great fun. Would definitely recommend the burgers.

Amazing "daily specials". We are now regulars of this pub because their "daily specials" are so dang good! You can tell that whoever is in the kitchen cares. Staff can be a bit hit and miss - some seem less keen than others to engage with diners. Patio can be quite fun during warm weather. Great ceasars and excellent fresh fish and nicoise salad. I guess being across from the Farmer's Market helps!
Pretty Good Saturday Brunch. Had the breakfast burrito and my wife had an omelette. Everything was good and the prices were reasonable. Nice outdoor seating area within view of the Farmers Markets.
Went to the Jason George Saturday for some nachos and beer after a brisk walk along Front Street on a cold March day in Toronto. It is located across from the St. Lawrence Market. We have been here a number of times to have pints of Guiness or Kilkenny. It has a comfortable feel and the prices are quite reasonable. The next time we come here we will try one of their specials that are written on the chalkboard. Their specials all look very good and are reasonably priced - most in the 12 to 14 dollar range. The last time we came here we saw a couple enjoying a bowl of the onion soup ($6). This time we decided to try their nachos. They came on a large plate and although lacking in cheese, they were quite tasty (with some sliced hot peppers added). Of course nachos go so well with beer, so we had a couple of pints of Guiness and Kilkenny
The toast lay there with fried eggs golden brown

And there was a lone shred of cheddar cheese sitting waiting to be eaten

Its another classic toronto spot. Good beers and food. Enjoyed the patio this fall as they do brunch and all the usual pub grub. Nachos plate is huge :)
