I had dinner with my friend, Maurizio. It was risky to take my Italian friend to an Italian restaurant that's on Bathurst st. North of Bloor. So, they bring us a basket of freshly baked bread and our appetizer; Polpette Al Sugo (meatballs with tomato sauce). Maurizio smiles and nods with approval. All he said was; "the tomato sauce, and the meatballs didn't fall apart". Then we are served the Regina pizza (buffalo mozzarella, sauce and basil) and the Donna Peppa (prosciutto, arrugula, sauce and shaved parmesan). I watched as Maurizio lifted a slice from each pizza to check the browning of the crust on the bottom, once again nodding his head with approval. Both allowed the flavors to come through, the sauce amazing. We finish with homemade Tiramisu by the owner himself, satisfaction! Quaint, typical, friendly and if the chef and the kitchen are the engine of any restaurant, this place is powered by Ferrari. But what gave this place that extra half star for 5? My friend asked for and was sold 3 loaves of their bread which they baked for us while we waited and one of them destined for his mother. THAT, is worth 5 stars!
Visiting Toronto from New Jersey and we looked for a brick oven pizza restaurant in the area. Ended at Napoli Centrale and couldn't be more pleased. The pizza is authentic and delicious. The staff is very pleasant. We highly recommend this restaurant. We will return next year.

My family and I had the chance to check out this place on June 5. It was everything I hoped it would be and more. Warm, friendly, great service and above all great food. We are all planning our next trip in. It was worth the drive from Millbrook/Peterborough.

I was pretty excited to try out this place after seeing all the great reviews on here. We were a pretty big group of 12. The interior is very spacious. They didn't have an issue accommodating us all at one table.
As soon as we arrived we were served bread, olives and a really delicious dipping sauce made in-house. The server was very prompt at getting our drinks.
I ordered the Diavola (pizza with a tomato based sauce, spicy salami and mozarella). It took a while to get our pizzas since we were such a big group. The appetizers came pretty quickly though so we still had quite a bit of food.
The pizza was Neapolitan style. It tasted delicious but had a thick crust on the rims and was scarce on the salami. This seemed to be the case with all the other pizzas ordered by our group. I would rate the food 3.5 for this reason. The service and the ambiance were satisfactory.
Overall a pretty good joint to hang out. They charged us a modest 15% group gratuity.

For me pizza is all about the dough and the dough here is a bit on the doughy side more a bread dough, but very delicious nonetheless.
What we really liked was the super nice staff and their whole attitude toward kids. No problem letting our son watch the pizza making process, they even gave him a chair.

Great food, Great service. My wife and I had dinner at Napoli Centrale this evening and we're both impressed with the overall experience. Our pizzas were fantastic; as good as or better than we've had at Libretto, Queen Margherita, Terroni, Via Mercanti, etc. Service was great - friendly, didn't rush us at all but very responsive when we wanted something. And their homemade bread is absolutely delicious and completely addictive.
I spent a week in Italy on my honeymoon and was craving real Italian pizza- thankfully I live a few doors up from this place that doesn't exactly like it should be. You couldn't get better pizza than this even if you flew to Italy. Honestly- it is as good or better than some of the best pizza places we ate at in firenze. Do yourself a favour and eat here!!
Amazing! The meat balls! Yum!!!!! The pizza and the fresh homemade bread! Couldn't get enough! Love this place! Wish more ppl would go! Bcuz businesses don't do so well in the annex sadly! But this place is awesome!
Finally a good pizza. I moved to Toronto few months ago and After trying the "so-called" best pizza in town, I was so disappointed. I'm picky about pizza. Last night, I was lucky to stumble upon Napoli Centrale. What a blessing!!!
The ambiance is fantastic, I love the brick walls, the soft (Italian) music in the background. As soon as you enter, you see the majestic oven at the end of the room, you immediately know that only delicious wonders can come out from it. The oven is imported from Italy and it is a wood oven (big plus!!)
We ordered two pizzas: Diavola and Cotto and Funghi. both tasted delicious!! Perfect crust and the toppings were super fresh. We received their own bread as appetizer, it was flavored with rosemary, so good!!.
The owner (from Naples) was very friendly and service was terrific.
Prices are great and way cheaper that other overrated pizzerias.
Highly recommended, we will definitely go back (and soon!!).
