We have eaten here before - fabulous food - family owned and intimate - liked it so much we arranged to have my mother in laws 77th birthday - and everyone loved it. My family being hard core italian is very hard to please but there were no complaints only happy humans.
Most recently, I called at the last minute on a Saturday night looking for a place for dinner for 8 people. (a friend was supposed to book a restaurant in their neighborhood but never got confirmation) They were super busy but were more than willing to accommodate us. We occupied a fair portion of the upstairs and as we previously experienced the food was excellent, and our guests loved it. It reminds me a lot of the family owned restaurants you find in the many small towns in Italy; fresh, delicious and prepared with care. I am a vegetarian so I know I can be a challenge to feed, but there is always something on the menu I can eat, and when necessary they are always willing to make accommodations. This is my go to place for dinner with the hubby, but also if we want to take some friends out for some terrific italian food! We travel from mississauga to eat here, and like I said my hubby is hard to please so I highly recommend the place to anyone looking for an intimate setting with great food.
The food is incredible. For those who think they can't get great Italian food outside of Italy - think again. Because La Sala is just as good, and in some instances better than some of the best restaurants in Italy. It's authentic Italian, all carefully crafted by the head chef. Careful attention has been paid to every small detail from food prep to presentation to taste. Everything is superb from the appetizers to the mains to the desserts. We could not stop eating because it all tasted so good. The portions are generous and prices are reasonable.
The restaurant feels as though someone invited you home for dinner - with a fine dining experience. Though this restaurant is new, it is run as though it has been around forever.
We dare you to try to not clean your plate - even when you are stuffed! You just might have to order another portion of you want to take some home.
Amazing restaurant! The staff was absolutely sensational. Steven was an amazing waiter, he had a lot of time for us and made us feel like we were at home! Would 1000% recommend this amazing place for dinner or any special occasion!
Best Italian food Ive had since I was in Milan last year. All the staff were so welcoming and recommending various dishes that I loved. 5 star service all the way. See you all again for my birthday dinner.
Incredibly tasty pasta dishes. Great to have this quality of Italian right in the hood. It's gone on our "regular haunts" list

Lovely space, friendly staff and terrific food. Had spaghetti carbonara and it was truly delicious; my friend had penne with salmon and it was equally divine. Shrimp apperizers were perfect. Can't wait for next visit.
Went to dinner with friends last Friday. My first visit but definitely not my last. The food was excellent, the service friendly and attentive. We are old friends who wanted to be able to talk--which we could. I just loved my evening there.

Best value in quality and service in the beaches! Been here 6 times and have loved every time, as have every person we've brought along with us! Chef Claudio is amazing and his wife Lisa does a great job managing the restaurant-they often make time to talk with every Patton and focus on making it a really special personal experience. Highly recommended!!
