Decided to check this place out since it was rated as one of the top brunch spots in Toronto. The rating was indeed well deserved. When we reached the place we noticed a huge line outside. The waiting time was over 40 minutes but we decided to be patient and wait - it was absolutely worth it since the food as delicious. We ordered a few Bloody Caesars (well made) and Eggs Benedict (Oh Canada and the one with spinach). The service was quick and pleasant. A delectable experience. Highly recommended.

Now we have another breakfast/brunch/lunch choice. We tried Boom Breakfast for the first time last week for lunch on Sunday. We had to wait about five minutes for a table, but that wasn't too bad. They have a small patio out front, a good sized dining room, and a larger patio out the back. We chose to eat inside; too muggy outside that day.
SWMBO chose the Chick-A-Boom Salad (grilled chicken, bacon, feta cheese, hard boiled egg, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, red onions, south western ranch dressing). Fresh ingredients, done well.
I opted for the Benny Boom (eggs benedict with smoked salmon, fresh baby spinach). It came with their Boom Fries, which were seasoned wedge fries. A nice alternative to the usual French fry. However, the salmon was the star, sitting on top of poached eggs that were good and runny.
I'd go back to try other things on their menu.
Tons of choices! This place has a breakfast favourite for everyone. Their patio in the back is like being in someone's backyard or a park. It's inviting and homely! A nice little escape for this part of time. I had the breakfast quesadillas! The portion was huge and I ended up taking half home for my lunch. Overall, I liked this place!
This was a clean and upbeat place with your regular breakfast options and good food. If you are looking for one of those hipster cool and fancy places for brunch this won't be it. However the quality was great and clean, with a very nice atmosphere.
Good restaurant. Went for breakfast early on a Saturday morning (around 8am) and it wasn't too busy. We sat on the back patio which was nice. The restaurant has nice decor and the service was good. Food was good too - pancakes were delicious :) I would definitely go back.
The wait can sometimes be a bit long on a Sunday but the atmosphere and the good food will keep you coming back for more.
Delicious breakfast sandwich. I had an amazing concoction of bagel, egg, avocado and tomato sandwich. So delicious and hardy for the morning. You will not be hungry until lunch time :)
The portions are a bit small but the pancakes were worth it!
Classy breakfast place. Good eats and with a lot of variety
Our N.Toronto greasy spoon. Although it is not greasy! Great place.
Perfect Sunday Morning experience. Well, there is nothing better on a Sunday morning to have the entire staff bright eyed, smiling and eager to make sure you have a good dining experience. We found all the staff at Boom terrific.
The food is well priced and quite good for a Sunday morning with your newspaper. We enjoyed the eggs benny and breakfast at tiffany's--threesome
As an added challenge we had a large group of 12, with 6 young children. Boom breakfast didn't stop smiling! Got us set up in an area by ourselves, moved tables around, and our waiter worked with the kids. Everyone had a great time. A note for those who hate the "we can't seat you until your entire party is here".
full marks!
