Extremely friendly and helpful staff, very prompt and efficient. Food quality was excellent and nice sized portions.
Apart from the full menu there was an array of extras on the specials to choose from.
10/10 guys, well done.
Parmigiano's food was excellent! I had the buffalo mozzarella salad and the sea bass. Staff was attentive and efficient.
Awesome food. Been coming here for 10 years now.
The wait staff are very friendly and the food are delicious
Offering a single piece of bruschetta ($1.50) is a fantastic idea, a satisfying nibble before the mains arrive without ruining the appetite. The bread is both chewy and crispy and the restaurant’s definitely not stingy on the fresh garlicky tomato topping.
Their soup or salad is also a good starter. The broth of the seafood wedding soup ($7.50), a daily special, was a little weak (perhaps adding more shrimp shells to the broth would help). Nonetheless, it was still hearty due to the abundance of other ingredients including shrimp, bay scallops, various diced vegetables, and tiny acini de pepe pasta. For the price, the soup was a sizeable portion. As for the salad, I love the slight horseradish kick in their Caesar ($8), it leaves an unexpected lingering as the lightly dressed garlicky lettuce disappears.
You’re not going to want to fill up on starters as Parmigiano’s mains are sizeable. The eggplant parmesan ($16) consists of a number of deep fried slices smothered in gooey

Parmigiano Trattoria is a very nice Italian restaurant on Yonge St. We've passed it for years, but last week for my birthday SWMBO and I decided to try it out. We had actually tried to get in a couple of months earlier, but they were fully booked that time.
Our server was very nice and carefully explained about half a dozen specials. SWMBO started with the soup of the day, which was Pasta Fagiole. It brought back memories of her grandfather's recipe, although this one was different. I started with the Eggplant Parmigiano, since I do love my eggplant. It was one of the petter eggplant parms that I have had. Thinly sliced, lightly breaded, gently sautéed, covered with fresh, stringy mozzarella and a tangy marinara.
For our mani course SWMBO chose the Chicken Parmigiano. She said it rivaled some of the best she had ever had. The chicken was very tender, and almost melted in her mouth. I had one of the specials, which was a Seafood Linguini. Small lobster tails, shrimp, scallops, with capers, roasted red peppers, capers in a lemon garlic oil, on top of perfect al dente linguini.
Our taste buds were very happy after that meal.
I love caesar salad and usually start judging the food by that app. They have a verry good caesar. I usually don't like when my salad doesn't have crutons or bacon but this was delicious. The fact it didn't have those and was still very tasty is an awesome plus in my books. The bruschetta was good. I had a basic pizza. It was yummy with tasty cheese. Thin crispy crust. My girlfriend got manicotti and she said it was good. I tried the pasta sauce and it was very very flavorful. The portions were a good size. I'd say they were on the large side. My pizza was $11 my girlfriens dish was $13. All in all the price was right for the portions. The salad was also pretty big. The service was good. They have lots of specials. I'd come back again for sure. This place has better food than ciccio sanwiccio. Much better salad and Pasta. This place, stack and the abbot pub are the best places in the yonge lawrence area.
Great neighbourhood gem!. We've started going here within the past year even though it's been open for much longer. The veal parmigiana is spectacular. They always have specials (mostly seafood) and the variety is enormous. Apart from the food, the best part about the tiny restaurant is certainly the service. They are extremely knowledgeable and make the experience very pleasant. The atmosphere could use a bit of a revamp, however, it is quite cozy. The one improvement they could do is expand their wine list, but it still consists of a couple of international and domestic wines.
Always looking forward to going back. Nice small romantic restaurant. Good sized menu and good sized portions. Always seems to be a long list of specials that the wait staff has to rattle off so sometimes it's hard to remember what they said. 75% of the time I get the seafood saltatta which is absolutely amazing.
