The best veal piccata, cosy and friendly environment and excellent service, we will definitely be back.
First time, but not my last time. Had linguine a la pescatori. It was delicious great staff, very kind people. My friends and I were able to sit and chat before and after dinner. Staff never made us feel like we needed to hurry up and leave.

Very good food. Cozy and Nice ambience. Busy with locals. Calamari is awesome. Helpful and friendly staff. Don't miss the penned with sausage
Excellent and authentic Italian food - worth repeated visits. Truly excellent Italian food. Fresh and well prepared. Service is professional and friendly. We found this place by accident last autumn and have been coming back about every three weeks or so because we prefer it to all the other Italian restaurants we used to go to. The veal with gorgonzola mushroom cream sauce is perfect. Every pasta dish we have tried there has been very satisfying, especially the lobster linguine in a rose sauce. The (complimentary) bruschetta is about the best I have ever had at a restaurant. The 70's decor adds to the charm of the place. I wouldn't change a thing about this place.
Amazing veal & great staff. My husband and I go out for dinner here every once in awhile, especially for special occasions, and we have never been disappointed. The veal Gorgonzola is our favorite dish and it is amazing! So delicious and fresh. The staff here is so very kind and friendly and very professional. We had an altercation about parking with another Italian takeout place in the plaza (Lenny's lasagna, terrible terrible place & the rudest staff) and the staff here went out of their way to make us feel welcome and smooth everything over, thank you for that. You are courteous and have the proper respect for your customers that other places terribly lack. Thank you for a great evening and as always some very delicious food :)
Fabulous service - attentive staff. Loved the food; fresh pasta and homemade sauces were delicious. Great value for dollar.
Primo Service!!! Primo Food!!!. My wife and I treat ourselves to restaurant experiences a couple times per month. We are familiar with a few local places in Don Mills and most Persian restaurants in the GTA.
To celebrate my mother's 87th birthday, my wife and I took my parents to a great restaurant in central Etobicoke, a short drive from their home.
I had read several on-line reviews and decided to try an Italian restaurant, just north of the high school I attended (Etobicoke C.I.) 30 years ago.
I took the chance of not making a reservation for a January Saturday evening. We arrived just before 6:00pm and found a spot directly in front of the restaurant. There are a dozen or more parking spots in front, as well as addition spots indicated by helpful signage.
We were greeted by a very polite hostess and lead to a front window table in west dining room. We promptly received menus, complimentary glasses of table water and a basket of bread with butter.
I ordered a carafe of wine, which was presented and poured, accompanied by a complementary plate of delicious Bruschetta.
We all wanted to try something other than pasta, pizza, chicken or beef. My parents both opted for the "Veal with Portobello Mushrooms". I chose the "Veal al Portafolio - Parcel of veal with prosciuto and spinach, topped with a creamy mushroom sauce". My wife quickly changed her mind and copied my order. We all chose the mixed vegetables rather than the pasta option.
We nibbled on the tasty Bruschetta, sipped our wine and chatted while Italian music played quietly in the background. The entrees arrived shortly after we had finished our appetizer. The food was delicious and enjoyed by all. The vegetables we steamed to perfection, the veal was tender, and I soaked up my creamy mushroom sauce with bread, before surrendering my plate.
The hostess kept our water glasses filled throughout our visit, and our waiter made sure we had everything we needed. I had jokingly told the waiter that my mother was trying not to get too drunk on her birthday.
After our plates were cleared, my mother told us that we would have cake and tea back at my parents' home. My father ordered tea and asked for a desert menu (for future reference).
My father's tea was delivered, followed by a surprise complimentary piece of layered cake with a lit candle, for my mother. We shared the ample piece of cake, sided with whipped cream and a maraschino cherry.
The bill for our dinner for four with wine, including tax was $101.xx. We gladly paid $125.00
I will recommend this place to my boss's picky mother-in-law, and will likely be promoted!!!
No need for a website or fancy advertising.
The attentive professional staff provides an excellent environment to enjoy the chef's culinary masterpieces.
Great Service! Great Food! Great Price!
P.S. We are not Italian so I had to look up the following translation.
To Mr. Peter Benedetti and his dedicated staff. . . .
