The food here was delicious. We got food to take away and it didn't disappoint. Great portion size, very quick service, friendly staff and above all the food was tasty and well cooked. Will visit again.
The food was good, the portion was good for the price and the staff were excellent. My one suggestion is the sushi pieces were very large. It would be better to have more smaller pieces. My order tasted great.

Tried the All you can eat dinner menu and the food was amazing. Staff very friendly and service very prompt. Will want to go there again. Pricy but worth it!
Large variety of food!! Loved tempura, calamari and breaded shrimp bites!! Quick service and good place to hang out!! Will visit again
I loved it! Everything we tried was excellent! I will definately recommend this place to friends.
Great place. Service and food were awesome!!! Staff easily accommodated our tight schedule and got us to our show in tine😀
Excellent food! Excellent service! Very friendly! Adrian, our server, was a hoot...and can serve ice cream under 2 minutes! ;)
Excellent food as always. Spring Roll never disappoints. It is one place you can go anytime and say we made a good choice.
My second time in this establishment and it didn't fail me. The food we ordered exceeded our expectations. It's located in downtown Toronto at a semi-empty plaza. I think because it's mostly offices so it feels a bit deserted at night. The variety of foods we ordered (sushi, dimsum, chicken) were delicious! Definitely coming back here on my next trip.
Service was exemplary as the male server made sure that our tea and water glasses were full and that we had everything we needed. The food arrived promptly and was delicious!
The Sushi and Sashimi Combo for 1 that I got was a perfect portion for me. The sashimi and sushi were fresh and I was impressed since Spring Rolls isn’t well known for their Japanese food.
Great place with a quick sushi pickup window. There is a good sushi and salad selection. I go with the golden California roll and occasionally the salmon bento box with miso soup.
Exquisite Thai and Japanese dishes. I prefer Thai or Italian if not Indian. So... While walking down the Dundas met with this restaurant. Ordered Spring Rolls, Bruschetta, Veggie Pad Thais and Veggie Sushi Extravaganza. All the items tasted authentic. Loved the place and would definitely visit it again.
Had dinner at spring rolls on Dundas & as always the food & service great .the place was clean other then the Windows could use a cleaning but it's only spring yet.
Easy to get there. A great fine dining place. We went for the buffet & were served really great food. The desserts are incredible. The tempura is a must try.
A very elegant restaurant in the Eaton Centre! Had Udon noodles and shared rice with my family- it was spicy and delicious! The food is filling, but it isn't heavy, so you can be on your way and not feel too full afterwards. Our server was the sweetest, and it was a fun way to end our Toronto trip!
Has gotten better even with the reviews, everytime I come here they are always busy... And I just go for the all you can eat sushi* quite fair prices and good food actually
Clean all you can eat menu. I really enjoyed the all you can eat menu, fairly good quality for something like that compared to the crappy Asian places in Montreal. It's certainly better than going to a buffet.
Great meal. Server walked me though the language to get the best experience. Bravo!
It was super good. I liked how everything was put together nicely and it looked like it was something interesting to
The food and atmosphere are amazing, but the portions are too small. For the price, I expect more.
The food was good value for money. Ad the Ho Fun vege superb and veg Thai green curry 6/10 not enough sauce and it was slightly undercooked. Steam spring roll was excellent. Will visit again.
The one thing I can TOTALLY recommend and love is the F.B.I (Fried Banana with Ice Cream)!! Ice cream availble in vanilla, green tea or coconut. Their smoothies are good as well. Can’t go wrong with passion fruit, mango or strawberry.
I love three day trips when they leave me alone for the middle day. Arrive one night, have all day to explore and go home the third day. And I get a rental car which I don't always get on quick "wait and returns." Such was the case in Toronto the other da
I went to Spring Rolls the other night with a girl friend and after having to wait about an hour and a half for her to finish up work I was incredibly famished! We decided then to head over to Spring Rolls at the Atrium on Bay for the All You Can Eat Dinner.
Although it was dinner time, we were seated immediately. The ambiance at this particular location is nice and relaxing and our server was good.
One of the things I love about the all you can eat dinner (they also have lunch) at Spring Rolls is that you can sample an abundance of items because they are served usually with 2-6 pieces. I would have ordered way more than what I’m listing below, but on that day I found myself being a bit more reserved.
We started by ordering an array of appetizers:
Cheese Dumplings - crispy (fried?) dumplings filled with crab meat and cream cheese.
Siu Mai - steamed dumplings with ground pork, shrimp and mushrooms.
Vegetable Thai Spring Rolls - crispy and fried, filled with ground chicken, ginger, mushrooms and veggies (cabbage and carrot).
Salt and Pepper Calamari - lightly battered and fried.
Tempura Basket - with 2 tiger shrimp and 1 each of: sweet potato, broccoli and zucchini.
Crispy WonTons - fried and filled with chicken and shrimp.
Out of the 6, I had the Siu Mai which was served with a side of what appeared to be hot sauce and mustard. I thought it seemed like an odd accompaniment but it was actually good! I just wish I hadn’t popped it in my mouth while it was pipping hot!
I also had the vegetable spring rolls which were served with a red tangy dip. My friend shared this with me and loves getting the spring rolls here. I however, thought they were fine. I think the disappointment for me was that, seeing as the restaurant is titled “Spring Rolls”, I’d expect the best one’s I’ve ever eaten! Maybe I was wrong to assume that.
The salt and pepper calamari was good as well. I love calamari but sometimes find that it tastes too oily or greasy. This wasn’t the case at Spring Rolls. It came with a side of sweet chill dip which was fine but I usually prefer lemon with my calamari. I could have simply asked for it I suppose but the sweet chilli dip was sufficient.
I also shared the tempura basket with my friend. Like the calamari, I find that sometimes tempura can be oily, greasy and also heavily battered. I was pleased to find that that wasn’t the case at all. The tempura sauce, whether house made or not, was nice.
My friend had the cheese dumplings and crispy won tons to herself. She eats at Spring Rolls often and these are two of her must haves every visit!
We also shared the Veggie Explosion Roll which was supposed to be filled with mango, asparagus, avocado and topped with sweet potato tempura. I didn’t read the description before as my friend had ordered it, but as I look at it now while I write this review, I only recall there being mango and avocado or cucumber (something green!) and topped with sweet potato tempura. This was the first time I’ve ever tasted a “sweet” sushi roll with fruit and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it! The only disappointing thing was that the rice did not taste that fresh. But hey, I’m a sucker for mango so it could probably make anything better.
For my entree I had the Malaysian Spicy Fried Rice which came with chicken, cucumber, chilli peppers and shallots in a belachan sauce which is like a shrimp paste base. I ordered this because I had been having a fried rice craving and let me tell you, this dish did not disappoint! If I had enough room in my stomach I probably would have eaten the entire bowl! Later that night when I was home I found myself craving fried rice again, but this time, it was this particular fried rice! Again, my poor memory does not recall cucumber in the mix but I loved it either way!
Finally for dessert I had a mango creme brûlée which I can’t find on their website to give you a detailed description. This was my first time having creme brûlée of any sort and I have to say it was disappointing. Not because it was bad per se, but because it didn’t have me wanting more than a couple bites (which, if you know me, then you know I love desserts!).
It is also valuable to note that if you do go to Spring Rolls for the All You Can Eat Menu, there is a 2 hour time limit on ordering.
All in all, I have to say that I’ve gone to Spring Rolls in the past and will continue to go in the future. This review is merely a representation and experience of my last visit.
Another "commercial" spot just outside of Dundas Square, we found this spot during our first week in Toronto. The food is decent, though nothing to write home about.I personally enjoyed the apps the most:- Tom yum soup - flavored with lemmongrass, galangal, kaffir lime leaf, mushroom and lime juice with cherry tomatoes in a spicy chili broth- Sexy summer salad rolls - smoked salmon, tiger shrimp with California greens rolled in fresh see-through rice paper wrap.Sushi, sashimi and maki rolls - tasty but again, nothing special.
A friend and I went shopping at Eaton's Center, and decided to grab a quick bite at Spring Rolls. We opted for their lunch AYCE as there was an assortment of items on the menu. It's not the best AYCE but it's adequate enough for a quick and casual lunch. Spring Rolls is a well known pan-Asian franchise as they have several locations across Toronto, and one in Mississauga. You can either order off their menu (à la carte) or go for their AYCE if you want a wider selection of dishes. The AYCE menu is priced at $14.99 (lunch), $22.99 (weekday/dinner) or $24.99 (Fri-Sun/dinner). - The chicken tom yum soup had a decent sour taste, but there were very few pieces of chicken in the soup. - The seaweed salad was pretty good. - The beef teriyaki was a Westernized version of the dish, and lacked flavor. - The pad thai had an unnatural red tint to it, which was probably due to the large amount of ketchup that was used. - I also ordered it spicy but they gave me one that was very sweet. - The spring rolls was enjoyable as it was both cripsy and hot on the inside. The menu does have a fairly large selection of rolls, hand rolls, and sushi for lunch. A lot of people have complained online that the fish isn't of the high quality. All I can say is this should be expected as it's an AYCE offering pan-Asian/westernized dishes, and they don't specialize in sushi. Due to this, I found that the fish to rice ratio was very imbalanced. There was a lot of a rice tightly packed in the rolls compared to the amount of fish that you get. The sushi itself is edible but if I were to be craving sushi, then this place wouldn't be on the top of my list. Even though the food was either a hit or a miss; I did like the service that we got. My friend and I were quickly seated, and our waitress was friendly, patient, and quick to assist us throughout our lunch.
A very classy and expensive restaurant. This place offers authentic Asian foods such as stir fry and fried rice in half a pineapple. Offers a very relaxing atmosphere and the staff were amazing at bringing our food in 10 mins as well as serving us even though it was past the Last Call order. I really enjoyed the option of customizing your order as I am vegetarian and they substituted the chicken with tofu free of charge.
