You will never get a better croissant this side of the Atlantic! The line up starts early on the weekends and it’s no surprise. Simply the best French pastries ever.

This little bakery is a hidden gem adored by a local community lining up for an almond croissant as early at 6:45am (well, it only opens at 7am). Their pastry tastes like heaven baked in the best traditions of French patisserie. Always fresh, always crisp and always so perfect that their daily specials sometimes are sold out by 9am. They are able to go an extra mile and create a delightful treat according to special dietary requirements, an egg-free birthday cake for example.

Best croissants in the city. Show up early before they sell out. Beautifully crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Almond chocolate croissant is a must try!

Our second cake was the Aki. It was an earl grey and caramelized cake with mousseline cream and chantilly cream. This appeared similar to the Kabocha cake in terms of how it was assembled (same shape with layers!). However, I really, really enjoyed this Aki cake! The top of the cake was caramelized which reminded me of the hard sweetened top on crème brûlées. The sweetness was nicely contrasted by the taste of the earl grey tea. This cake was even more smooth and creamy than the first cake.

Best croissants I've had in Toronto and their fruit croissants are simply the best! The staff is very gentle and nice as well. They could do with some more tables - there is always demand for them.

Great place!!!. Just moved to the area and found this place while walking around with my wife. Stopped in because we saw the macaroons. Had the lemon and coffee ones. We liked them so such that we stopped by after our walk for seconds.

Great shop with a friendly staff. Can't wait to try out more pasties from there.

Addictive. My partner became addicted: Is irresistibly drawn to the place and needs a fix every couple of days. Croissants (butter, almond or pain au chocolat) are outstanding. Of note: they really succeed at chocolate or coffee éclairs.
Macarons are gorgeous to behold, as well as fluffy and intense flavour. That's in our humble opinion as ex-Montrealers with a sweet tooth who have also lived and experienced pastry delights in France. Patisserie 27 is really up there.

Fabulous bread and macaroons!. I dicovered this patisserie soon after it opened and now stop in a few times a week. Their breads are very well made, delicious, unique and incredibly well priced (for Toronto specialty bread prices) - I highly recommend them! Their macarooons, especially the Piore William, are wonderful, too.
They are a lovely place to grab an affordable drip coffee, bread for sandwiches, special treats to bring as a hostess gift or a little treat for yourself. The owners are friendly, down-to-earth people. It's a great excuse to wander around the Annette St neighbourhood, which is changing quickly!

Just opened on the norteast corner. Fantastic pastry. Have had croissants and almandine and am very impressed with their authentic fluffy wonders.
