This place is home to me. Been going there for 27 years! Wow! There is no better burger than the Mojo! Poutine is amazing! Souvlaki, Pizza, veal with mounds of melted cheese.... and for those days you want to eat healthy, Greek salad is on point! Thanks to George and the crew for keepin it Real!
WOW, the Mojo burger was delicious, friendly staff. Been going by there for years and never stopped in before seeing a friends FB post from last week. It was a quest and well worth it. Best burger in Toronto.

Large pizza slices, very reasonably priced at under $5 including a drink. Poutine was hot, fresh and delicious, generous amount of cheese. Their burgers are fresh made, and delicious! Go! Eat!

My favourite spot in Scarborough for burgers. I've been going here for years (80's) and I've never been disappointed with either the burgers or pizza. I always get the home burger with just ketchup. The home burger stands on its own, it only needs ketchup as a compliment to enhance the charbroiled flavour. The fries are good but the onion rings are awesome. I can see how the batter on the onion rings can turn some people off but throw some malt vinegar on them and you'll see the difference. When ordering a whole pizza, I always go for the large deluxe. It just an old school pizza done the right way. Even with the food being so good, the staff is the best part. Super friendly and always happy to see you, even if it's your first time there.
The burgers are one of the best especially the home burger and the Mojo, The souvlaki and pizzas are good too along with the shakes. Whenever I visited this place, I've never found it empty.
Random greasy spoon that has been around for ever! Good greasy food after a night of drinking or if you just want to eat a dirty lunch! Better then a big chain fast food restaurant, this place has provided good food for years.

The Real McCoy is well known for their burgers, poutine and pizzas. Their burgers taste great! Their poutine is drenched in gravy (they literally put ladles full of gravy into the box). The poutine may be a bit too much for me to handle because of the amount of gravy they use, but i'm sure that's what their customers love about it and keeps them coming back. The other day, I decided to try out their pizza. We ordered a Steak and Hot Pepper Pizza. The Steak is not on the menu and we had to pay an additional $5.00 for it. We ordered a Small which was enough pizza for two people but if you have a big appetite, you can eat it alone. The steak was cut into thin strips and grilled to crispiness. There was a sufficient amount of cheese and hot peppers on the pizza as well. Overall, it was a very delicious pizza and I would get it again if I'm ever in the area. It may not look as appetizing but it definitely tastes great!
There isn't much space in this store and it's mainly for take out. The service is great and the workers are quite friendly. Food overall is great as well!
Great burger joint in Scarbrough. Small with no seating and hasn't been renovated in a long time. But the food is what keeps this place going.
I ordered the 8oz homemade bacon cheeseburger (nicknamed MOJO) with fries and gravy for $12. Very good! The only downside was no seating inside. However, there is a counter space along the wall where you can stand and eat your meal.
The epitome of "Johnny's hamburger". The name we all remember but the taste we all have forgotten. This place keeps that old flare alive, soaking in its unremembered juices. Their hamburgers are what I remember as a child and their pizzas are like no other. Highly suggest visiting this joint whenever you can. Great food.
Great homemade burgers, fries, onion rings, souvlaki and pizza and everything is just the best. Wonderfully priced in comparison to these new high end burger places that are an absolute rip. Real McCoy has been around for decades and is still Scarboroughs top burger joint. Make sure to order a MOJO burger with onion rings and a side of gravy.
Had a great homemade burger from them. Definitely one of my top 7 burger joints. There's another spot closer to me called Golden Star that I slightly prefer (very similar style of burger) but I'd still be in a good place if I lived in this part of Scarborough and this was closer. I saw someone walking out with a delicious looking pizza so I'll be back to try that next for sure.
Wow poutine. Bomb poutine!! must try. My colleagues love coming to this place for a really good burger. Though I did try their steak on a kaiser and did not like it because it was kind of salty.
The Best Food and People. I've been coming to The Real McCoy since I was little and it never ceases to amaze me. The owners make you feel like you're part of the family and the food is consistently amazing! It's safe to say that everything on the menu is delicious. I especially love their old fashioned milkshakes and souvlaki on a bun. I highly recommend you try it.

Simply the best. The parking lot sucks, there is nowhere to sit and its cash only. That being said, you will not find a better greasy spoon anywhere. Everything on the menu tastes ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!
Mccoys is the real deal. Somehow that mediocre place Johnnys has this great reputation, but this is really the best burger spot in Scarborough. Its your classic Greek greasy spoon but they have GREAT pizza. I mean a large Mccoys pizza can actually feed a few people, you know? And thats under 20 bucks. They only deliver fridays and saturdays and they take forever, but if you live in the area its totally worth it to go pick it up. Their souvlaki and a few other things arent so great, but their homeburgers (especially the Mojo burger, a banquet burger), pizza, and steak on a kaiser are incredible and make this the best spot like this in town.
Sitting just outside the burger joint finishing off my delicious burger. Nice fresh bun and tasty meat with fresh toppings. Wish the bacon was maple flavored and the cheese cheddar but hey a pretty damn good burger. Not the best but still looking for that ultimate burger.

Living in Hamilton, I still make trips out to Scarborough just for a good eat! There's no in store seating and it's cash only (and the parking lot is awkward as hell), but the food is always to die for.
Don't get me wrong, its definitely gonna clog your arteries... But it is SO good.
Their burgers, fries, poutine, milkshakes and hot dogs are always amazing. My husband always gets a slice of their pizza and loves it (and he's really picky about his pizza). My dad is big on their souvlaki on a bun... There's literally something for everyone. For an awesome price, you get awesome food.

Best Burger In Scarborough. I came to the place with high expectations and i wasn't disappointed. With 9$, you can get an 8 ounce burger, fries and a drink. Thats not bad especially that the patties and the fries are fresh and not frozen. Not only is the place a burger place, but it also has fish and chips as well as pizza pizza.
The Real McCoy is a true local legend. Go check it out. I was a Johnny Burger person but after taking an hour commute to get this, I can say im now a a mccoy devout. You may have your doubts but just try it out once and i know you'll love it.

Since I moved out of town- I miss Real McCoys!. Since moving to St. Catharines, I can not find a local restaurant like it! When we go home to visit my family, we often get take out from Real McCoy. Good variety of food such as burgers, souvlaki, pizza, steak on a bun etc. I love their cheeseburgers but the meal wouldn't be complete without their fries and gravy! (Onion rings are good as well!)
If you really feel like a treat, you can order one of their homemade milkshakes to complete the meal!
The owners and the other staff are always friendly and the service is pretty fast.
A definite must try when you feel like take out.
Took some finding, but worth it!. Definitely a mighty tasty burger, with fries that are well above "industry average."
I have not tried the pizza; it looks like it's the sort of "messy and greasy and cheezy" that could be remarkably good.
Arguably the best burger joint in town. It's nestled in a little plaza and if you happen to stumble on it you have to check it out. I highly recommend the touted "Mojo burger". Everything is made in house, quality of food is elevated in that regard. There's no place to dine in as it's take away only but the friendly owners and service is make it worth the visit. 4/5

The one and only.. This place is the one burger joint that I can't live without. The first time I ate here was 10 years ago and since then I've realized there's no place that can even match it.
Their menu consists of your usual items found at fast food joints but the difference is that they are all amazingly good. They have regular burgers, home burgers, pizza, whistle dogs, souvlaki, steak on a bun, fish&chips, fries, poutine, onion rings and much more. I would highly highly recommend getting their famous 'MOJO' burger which was voted Scarborough's best and by MOJO radio station. Their pizza slice is wicked good and is my regular meal whenever I go there (it's about the size of 1/3 a large pizza). I would also recommend their poutine and asking for bacon on it, which is great to share with friends.
They are a family run business and have been in the community for decades. One thing I've noticed is their dedication and it's quite evident with the number of returning customers they have. It's open late night (some nights, open to 2am). Their prices are really good and you don't have to worry about being satisfied when leaving.
In short, The Real McCoy is a great place to grab an amazing burger and pizza with a wide menu that will not disappoint! 10/10
