Sunday brunch with family at One Eighty 51st floor in Downtown Toronto was not only a feast for our taste buds but also to our eyes as the view from the top was breathtaking. Toronto’s skyline looked glamorous and the great ambience were highlights.
There was an impressive variety in their brunch buffet - fresh fruits 🍌 🍎 🍉 , boiled eggs, omelette, sausages, breads, potatoes 🥔,juices. The sweet treats were equally eye catching 😍mousse chocolate cake, muffins, berry cakes, eclairs, custard pie 🥧.
For 39.99$ per person (excluding drinks), the One-eighty is a must visit restaurant especially while the good weather lasts!

A really cool place with an amazing view! Came here for drinks, desserts and the atmosphere. There was a DJ spinning music which was nice, and we only had to wait a little while at the bar for a seat outside on the patio. We ordered a few drinks: lychee royale, purple rain and froze you say. Desserts were the geo dome and death by chocolate. The drinks and desserts were creative, funky and we enjoyed everything! Would be back to try their dinner menu, whatever people were eating it all smelled delicious! Service was friendly and attentive.

Didn't have dinner in this place, but had some drinks, the view is incredibly, probably one of the best over the city. The decoration is also modern and cool. Definitely a place to check.

This spot has one of the best views in the city.  Being that it’s almost the new year, I thought this would be the perfect time to share my experience with you.  Located on the 51st floor of The Manulife Centre is a complete city within itself.  Everything you need is in this one building: grocery store, theatre, LCBO, Chapters, Ashley’s, clothing stores, kitchen & bath, and a restaurant with a fabulous view.   The prices are a tad high ($30-$45 for mains), but for a celebration it is worth it.

What an amazing location to do a restaurant review, who would have ever thought you would be able to put an amazing place to eat viewing the whole of downtown Toronto!

Well the Manulife building in mid town Toronto has what is truly a spectacular and unique experience to offer for you! Firstly getting to the building is real easy, its a simple walk up Yonge Street until you get to, Bloor and then you take a left and you really can't miss it!

However once entering the building we must of taken the long way, because we ended up walking for 5 minutes in the building to find the actual entrance to the restaurant. However once their, a massive sign appears above saying '180' then a menu and then of course the elevator to get you to the top!

Going up 50 floors I thought would be a piece of cake, but the ears did pop several times. However when you enter your greeted by the hostess and then given a table. We literally got shown our table and then we straight away went out side to get a glimpse of the amazing view. It was breathtaking!

Ordering didn't take too long, and we received our food quite promptly, the pizza was so awesome how it was presented, and I got scissors to cut it as well which was a new thing.

The pizza itself was really good, and the experience was a really positive one, I would highly recommend anyone going to Toronto or who lives in Toronto, if they wanted to dine at a special place, this is a must!

Located fifty-one stories high above the heart of Yorkville in the Manulife Centre is Toronto’s newest culinary destination, The One Eighty. The space formerly known as the Panorama Lounge has recently undergone extensive renovations to re-emerge as an upscale cocktail-focused eatery and event space. Canada’s award winning event management and catering brand Eatertainment are the brains behind this unique concept, bringing a whole new dining experience to the city in the most sophisticated way.

Already known for its romantic atmosphere and spectacular panoramic views of the city, The One Eighty borrows inspiration from the 1920s golden age with warm and modern lighting, earthy wood textures, elegant black and white décor and a touch of rich gold, creating a truly luxurious space.

Featuring Executive Chef Christopher’s newest and most innovative creations, The One Eighty effortlessly blends art and architecture inspiration with classic comfort food and a touch of international flare. Presented on interactive carts and tableside service, The One Eighty gives guests the chance to choose between exclusive appetizer dishes like the exquisite foie gras crème brûlée, Brussels sprout Caesar salad, braised pork belly or jerk chicken with pineapple salsa. These mini dishes range in price from $5 to $9 and are the perfect burst of flavour to tide diners over until the main course.

With a variety of other starters on the menu, such as hand-stretched pizzas ($18-$22), or innovative salads ($14-$22), each dish is perfect for sharing or enjoying alone. Their avante-garde spin on the traditional caprese salad ($16) is served deconstructed with micro greens and arugula, juicy market tomatoes and creamy ricotta cheese.

Each main on the menu is fresh and unpretentious, from the emerald risotto ($23), a creamy and colourful dish with edamame, parmesan cheese and pickled beets, to the chicken and waffles ($27), whose spicy maple sauce, crispy jalapenos and sweet cherry chutney make this comfort food duo a match made in heaven.

To quench your thirst, The One Eighty offers a wide range of specialty libations, including a variety of unique martinis and an extensive wine list. Their select cocktails, dubbed ‘shaken + stirred’, are made in house and bottled for an exclusive touch. The Bison ($15), a light and refreshing cocktail, layered with cucumber, lime, and basil flavours, is created with a dry, herb-flavoured Polish-style Żubrówka vodka which has been distilled with rye. Each cocktail features the same passion and detail that has been employed in every other aspect of The One Eighty.

For sweets lovers, the decadent desserts featured on the menu are perfection, from the molton chocolate macaron ($13) to lemon meringue verrine ($11). But it’s the chocolate peanut butter tart ($12) that truly shines. This rich, chocolate tart shell is filled with a creamy peanut butter filling reminiscent of a classic peanut butter cup. Served with chocolate ganache and topped with chocolate pearls, this combination of sweet and salty is the best way to finish off an exceptional meal.

For Torontonians and out of town diners alike, The One Eighty is the perfect hot spot for a celebratory meal. Focused on offering a strong culinary experience, The One Eighty places the emphasis on quality taste and gorgeous plating, as well as an alluring atmosphere and one of the best views of the Toronto skyline. With north and south patios soon to open, this re-invented space will have you looking for any excuse to celebrate a night on the town.

I recently attended a media preview of the rebranded restaurant, The One Eighty on the 51st floor of the Manulife Centre. I took the time to admire the contemporary and stylish design of the restaurant, which features industrial metals and a soft grey palette. I took in the million dollar views of Toronto's ever evolving, gorgeous skyline.
I greeted my friends and our attentive server offered me a refreshing rosemary bramble cocktail. It was the perfect start to a sumptuous feast. Yorkville is synonymous with luxury and what is more luxurious than tableside bar cart service? Bringing back this service stops indecisiveness in its tracks, as you can instantly choose appetizers that catch your fancy. I chose the incredible savoury and sweet foie gras crème brûlée. Rich and creamy, it was as tasty as it was indulgent.
Our table also shared the freshly baked Margherita pizza with flavourful San Marzano tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella and basil. The pizza is hand stretched and is accompanied with spicy and chive infused extra virgin olive oils for a burst of bold flavours. I also sampled the delicate beef carpaccio accompanied with French green beans, frisée, chive oil and pecorino. The next dish was a simple, yet delicious ricotta caprese salad. The arugula was flavoured with acidic balsamic vinegar and the rich ricotta cheese provided a satisfying creamy texture.
For the main course, I had the divine beef tenderloin, which is among the most tender steak I have had the pleasure of enjoying. Pan seared and cooked to perfection, it is served with smooth buttermilk spun potatoes and balanced well with asparagus.
Just as I thought that it could not get any better, I was treated to a trio of mouth-watering desserts. I have eaten panna cotta before, but I have never had it with creamsicle flavouring. It was unique, fluffy and bold in flavour with candied orange and petrified mandarin crisps. The lemon meringue verrine with buttery graham streusel was silky and tart. I saved the best for last, enjoying each morsel of the chocolate peanut butter tart accompanied with candied peanut bark and dark chocolate ganache. Heavenly is the only word that will suffice in describing this decadent chocolate lover's treat.
It was certainly a memorable occasion with warm service, scrumptious and dynamic dishes and unforgettable views of Toronto's stunning skyline. With options galore and a feast for the senses, I cannot wait to return to The One Eighty.
