My family and I have been there a lot and the food is incredible and is full of flavour and taste, however I think that the customer service isn't the greatest but there is always room for improvement
Hole-in-the-wall kinda place for some good fried chicken, roasted potatoes, rice and beer. (:D)
The ribs were kinda over done. The hot sauce is legit.

Loved the rice and chicken!
Loved the atmosphere.
We went on a Wednesday and it was still packed!
Their portion size was amazing. I absolutely must credit them for the rice.
Great place for a family meal
I've tried the chicken, and salmon both were really good. Prices are reasonable! However the service isn't the greatest! You always have to wait longer than you would at another restaurant to get your meal. Today we waited for a good 15 minutes to be seated while 4 employees were chatting away right in front of us.
Churrasco Villa near Yonge/Eglington is doing portugese chicken proper. The place itself is rather elongated and narrow with a bit of an old school restaurant feel. As soon as you walk in, you can get the whole flamed chicken smell, which is incredible.
I ordered the Double Leg with Rice and Fries because carbs are an evil I just can't shake. The chicken is grilled wonderfully. The skin is crisp, slightly charred, but the skin holds up the sauce well. And that sauce is necessary. Not because the meat isn't good by itself, but because it just makes Portuguese chicken that much better. The meals come with hot or mild sauce and you definitely need the hot. The fries were crisp and the rice pilaf was fluffy and soaks up sauce very well.
Servers were friendly and the place is pretty nice. Interesting thing to note is that the takeout menu is slightly cheaper than the dine-in menu, which I found odd. Maybe they give more food for dining in? Not quite sure, but still worth coming regardless.
I've come here a couple times for take out. Their chicken is quite good - juicy, crispy skin and nice grill flavor. They cook it rotisserie style over charchoal grill. Goes very well with their piri sauce. Their best side is the rice which has good seasoning, the rest (fries/veggies) are pretty generic. Also i would avoid the soup, was way too salty and lacked deep chicken flavors.
After eating churrasco's chicken I made a vow to never order Swiss chalet ever again. That promise has stuck. Churrasco's is one of my favourite places to eat in the neighbourhood. Highly recommend their pasta too!
One of my favourite restaurants in the Yonge and Eglinton area. Highly recommend the mild Churrasco sauce. Pick one up with your meal. You won't regret it.
This place is pretty good! Before you even enter the restaurant you can smell the marinated chicken grilling as if it were a BBQ on the street and it fills the neighbourhood of Mount Pleasant and Eglinton with dreams made in Churrasco heaven. This is a place to bring the whole family. It's charming, inviting and the menu is simple but has enough options to keep a group of varied tastes happy. Reasonably priced and well maintained. I'm a happy regular.

What was lacking in space and decor they definitely make up in flavour! Delicious fall off the bone chicken, well seasoned ribs, tasty sides.
Great go-to place for Portuguese!. We stumbled upon this gem accidentally a while ago, and this place probably has one of the best Portuguese chicken in town! You can see the chicken being slowly roasted in the open kitchen. Their piri piri sauce is very tasty. A very cozy little joint, and great service even though the place was bustling!
Updated: August/2013 - Still good!
Had the grilled chicken pasta w pommodoro sauce. Best pasta sauce ive ever had - so flavorful, right amount of kick, and it even came with a generous side of parmesan. My husband got the churico sausage, which he didn't like, but the salad was leafy greens (not iceberg) and fries were good. Friendly service, and really good custard flaky tart for dessert.
Excellent food and good prices. Server a little rude but hopefully just a one time thing. Will go back again.
Best churrasco hands down!
Simply the best Portuguese Chicken in the GTA hands down. Don't even bother with any other, delicious authentic homemade PiriPiri and perfectly charcoal grilled chicken.
Great simple dine out. This is a great place for a simple yummy meal! Chicken leg with 2 sides under $10. Nice decor and service too!
There are also take-out specials which are cheaper.
A great place to eat. The chicken was good when I went and the potatoes where amazing one of the better places I have eaten. Pricing was fair too.
Tastes like chicken. This is one of the top places to grab Portuguese chicken in the city. Whether in a bifana or a dinner plate you can really taste the way it's cooked. And when you are cooking with a wood fire, that is a great thing. Finish your meal off with an egg tart and you won't be disappointed.
...boys and girls, the chicken and ribs are as amazing as they say
I used to work in the area and try to go for lunch as often as possible. Now, it's a quick stop on my way home for dinner. I am OBSESSED with their piri-piri. I love to mix the mild and hot for the perfect mix of spice and acidity. I usually have the quarter chicken with potatoes and vegetables. Even cauliflower can be a surprisingly good vehicle for the sauce. Moral of the story - get extra sauce and go/take out often.
