I have had many years of Birthday gatherings with friends and family there. This year it is for my 80th Birthday. If Fresh and Tasty food, in the Japanese style, although not by Japanese ownership, so I am informed by my Japanese friends, along with a Bright, Cheerful atmosphere, friendly, and attentive service is your wish, then you can't beat the Sushi Inn. Plus the Price is so agreeable, to a working, middle class, economy! Which is me, an Actor!

I have been to Sushi Inn since the beginning of time I think? 🤔 It's constantly busy and I quite enjoy the lively ambience if you ask me. The sushi and sashimi is always fresh. I enjoy their chirashi and bentos the most. Their pork cutlet don and selected updon is are also pretty yummy though!🤗 The service is fast, efficient and always friendly. Sushi Inn is definitely a solid staple if you are shopping in Yorkville and crave some fresh sushi and sashimi! 🍣🍥🍛

When you love sushi you care about good food and thats all. Sushi inn is not an appropriate restro for a valentines day date night, but when you eat some thing so tasty you hardly care about anything else. This restro is really small, decor is very mediocure. They have a small sushi bar. We ordered calamari tempura and chicken bento box. Chicken teriyaki in bento box is so tasty. This place is all about authentic good food.

Take out sushi. Excellent experience with ordering sushi for take out. prompt service, fair prices and fresh fish. Very pleased to have this place so close by. I will be back to try some other options. So far the gold bento box was a good choice.

Dinner at Sushi Inn last Saturday. Wasn't expecting much, but it was really good. We go out for sushi on the Danforth from time to time, but this was noticeably better. I also like the room downstairs (we were lucky enough to get a booth). The sushi itself was good but unremarkable, but this noodle dish we ordered (udon with mushrooms and peppers) was fantastic, as were a few of the appetizers (sushi pizza and this very good beef/mushroom roll-up). Seems like the type of place where you could go back and be disappointed, though. Will have to hang on to this good memory :)

Sushi Pizza anyone?. Try the Sushi Pizza here! I've tried Sushi Pizza elsewhere and it's never been as good as it is at Sushi Inn. I heard celebrities will frequent this restaurant when a red carpet event is in town. Tables are close together so not necessarily a place to take your first date.

I'm On The Fence. Sometimes you go there and it great. The last time we went there I was not impressed with the 'quick turnover" goal they seem to force on every guest.

We have been going there since Sept 10' and every time we go it just seems to get worse. We don't get to go alot but when we do we like to enjoy ourselves, we order Miso Soup, Edamame, Sushi Pizza, two orders of both California Rolls and Spicy Tuna as well as two Saporo beers.

They make it seems like taking an hour to eat all that food it too much to ask. They gauk at you while you eat hoping you'll leave soon but then are no where to be found when you want the bill.

They brought my bf's food out way before mine then took plates away without even asking if we were done, sooo frustrating. Great food though, that's why I'm on the fence. Gonna try take-out from now on.

It's one of my favourite lunch places in yorkvile. It's got great food, and good location. Although it's busy, it's a short wait for a table and a short wait for your meal. The prices are great too.

A Gentle Intro to Sushi in a Fun Atmosphere. This is a really great place to go with a date if you are kind of nervous of sushi. The vibrant dining experience may be festooned with Prada and Celebs but the price is mid-range and the food tasty.

A Bento box is a nice way to start and the combination is delight. A consult with a certified Sushi chef says that it is OK to mix the ginger with wasabi and soy for dipping. Go ahead and dip that Tempura vegetables and have a nice time.

Sushi Pizza is fantastic - the first time I saw this with my wife I thought - what the heck. But she assured me and we tried it and I am now a die hard. Lunch will be great and under $40.

Since Yorkville is such an upscale area in Toronto, I would not expect to find a restaurant like Sushi Inn here. It's a great sushi place at a great price. I usually come here for their maki rolls and handrolls. All the rolls are so good. Be prepared to wait because they are always extremely busy. I wish they had an uptown location.

Sushi Inn is apparently a staple within the neighborhood of Yorkville. It was pretty busy when we arrived at around 3:30 pm, so we had to wait about 10 minutes for a table to open up. We were seated at two tables put together, and I found the space to be a little cramped, but it was bearable. The service was kind of lacking due to the large numbers of customers, and there were only 3-4 waitresses on the floor working. I am not too sure if they were understaffed that Saturday afternoon, but the service was slow. My friends and I finally got a hold of one of the waitresses, and we ordered our food. I ordered the Sushi Inn salmon pizza (sushi pizza) ($8.25). I really liked the deep fried patty; it was super crispy. Although the sprinkling of the roe atop of the sushi pizza was a little bit of an overkill. Needlessness to say; it was still a great tasting sushi pizza.  The edamame ($4.25) tasted like the ones found at any other sushi places, so nothing special. For those who are not familiar with this appetizer; it's pretty much boiled soy beans with salt. The salmon and cucumber rolls came with one of my friend's combo; I forgot which one though.  The restaurant was very busy; so the sushi that we got were fresh. It did not taste like it was left out in the open for hours on end, which is always a good thing. My friend, Steve, ordered Combo J (from the lunch menu) ($9.25); which is pictured on the right. This combo included spicy tuna roll (6 pieces), salmon sashimi (2 pieces) and tuna sashimi (2 pieces). If you have a big appetite, then I would not recommend this specific combo. My friend complained that he was still super hungry after finishing his meal. I didn't try this sushi, but the picture to the left is of the kani (surumi crab) ($5.75). The lunch specials serve up good quality food at reasonable prices. I ordered the chicken teriyaki meal ($8.25), and it came with steamed rice, soup, and salad. I thought that the portions were pretty decent for the price, and I was full by the end of the meal. The lunch specials ranged from $8.00 to $12.00, and they are available 7 days a week from 11:00 am - 3:30 pm. One of my friends ordered the Sushi Inn special ($9.50). This meal came with chicken teriyaki, green salad, 1 pieces of shrimp tempura, 1 piece of crab tempura, 1 piece of spring roll, 2 pieces of vegetable tempura, 3 pieces of dumpling, steamed rice and 6 pieces of maki. This was the best valued meal on the entire lunch specials menu and is highly recommended.   Overall, I enjoyed the food here and will definitely be coming back.

If you are not in the mood for AYCE sushi, Sushi Inn is your best bet. Their combos are great, and it’s probably the only cheap place to eat in Yorkville. There’s a reason it’s always packed.
