Chilled out place with an excellent location, we spent a good afternoon here. The chicken Caesar salad was humongous and loaded, the chicken and chickpea bowl was comforting and tasty but could have more greens, the pesto chicken sandwich was filled just right and the flavours were spot on and finally, the shrimps and calamari platter was crispy, crunchy, rightly flavoured and so fresh. The food was great. The servers were friendly. However, the service could've been quicker but we aren't complaining with all the delicious food. The menu has a great spread too. Totally recommend this one.
Strategically located on the ground floor of 10 Queens Quay, this huge pub is a very lively place mostly frequented by office goers after work hours on week days and more active on weekends.
The patio has a comfortable seating and their beer options on the tap is huge. Slightly expensive though, but I spent a brilliant evening here with friends with beer and finger foods including fries and gnocchi.
Overall, nice specially with large TVs showing live soccer matches of the 2018 World Cup!
Nice spot downtown to watch the Jays game or just out with friends after work. Great food and drink specials, staff is very friendly and accommodating. Half price wings on Wednesday cant go wrong!
I am a self-proclaimed burger connoisseur and having had hundreds of burgers of all levels of awesomeness, I wouldn't rate this one in my top ten. However, it was still a pretty satisfying burger. The huge onion rings on the top were a nice touch and the fries were nice a crispy.

A Second Home. It's getting tough to find a decent pub in downtown Toronto. Everything is always go go go, and rarely do servers go the extra mile. What's worse is that pub food ends up being the same bland dishes served everywhere. Imagine my surprise when this past summer I happened upon Firkin on Harbour. The location with a harbourfront view is wonderful, and that patio is a wonderful place to relax between busy meetings or over an evening while watching the sun set. I keep coming back to this wonderful pub and it feels like my second home.
What really sets this place apart is its food, curated menu, craft beer selection, and the great service. The other Firkins have a decent selection of beers, but this location goes the extra mile to have a wide variety of different craft brews from all over Ontario, Canada and North America. This is all without mentioning the fact that each pint is served in a fresh, cold glass (unlike some other pubs in the city that just refill your glass or serve you beer in a warm glass fresh from the dishwasher!). The burgers are cooked to perfection, not too greasy, freshly baked buns and just the right amount of condiments - some of the best burgers downtown if you ask me! If you're there with friends, the nacho plates are wonderful (though I will admit to having eaten a whole one myself while watching a hockey game last week...). They often have great priced specials and are some of the best value for your money on the Harbourfront.
Regarding the service, I have to take issue with some of the other reviewers on here who seem to have had radically different experiences than I've had. I always found the portion sizes generous, the service prompt and the staff to be extra friendly, often going above and beyond to help out. I did notice one irate customer last week, but he seemed to be primarily upset because the staff wouldn't let him sit with his daughter in the bar area during a hockey game. From the little that I know about liquor laws in Ontario, I don't think minors are allowed in the bar area. In any case, I was impressed with how calm and cool the staff remained while dealing with this person. Immediately after having an exchange with this difficult and screaming customer, the manager passed by my table, smiled warmly and asked how my meal was and whether I needed anything. I was amazed by her professionalism.
If you're around the Harbour and looking for a great place to grab a pint, have a bite or enjoy a hockey game, check this place out. You won't regret it.
Good food, Good service. I'm not sure how others are experiencing bad service from Firkin on Harbour but, I've been to this place a few times in the past few months. They haven't been opened for that long however, the place is clean and the staff seems pretty friendly. I've done both dine-in and take-outs and both experiences were very pleasant. The food is always hot, cooked to my likings and I honestly love their selection of pub food. I will absolutely go back again.
What a great spot! Perfect location, yummy food and a super hot server. Definitely recommended.
