Great service. Great beer selection. Amazing wings (got the medium) and fries that reminded me of that famous burger chain’s fries that the world loves... I’m lovin it!. We sat inside but looking forward to hitting the patio next time.
best proper Pub in the city!! Staff are brilliant!
Betty’s- one of the most iconic spots on King Street right here in Downtown Toronto. This place is known to almost anyone who lives in Toronto, whether you are new or old to the city. There is something about this place which makes you feel like home. The honest, rustic, retro ambiance is definitely inviting. This place is more than a friendly pub. When you hashtag it to good vibes, it really means something. To talk a little about their food and drinks, I think they have an amazing collection of beer. Their food menu is limited and just right to cater to the right crowd. I particularly loved the nachos platter which gets served with tortilla chips and various dips. Their poutine is a must try. I also had a chance to try their portobello sandwich. Their outer seating is great adding more to the ambiance. It has a very beach-y outdoor vibe which makes you wanna come back over and over again. Last but not the least, their service is top notch. This place strikes every chord there is to have a fun filled evening with friends with endless conversations.
A beautiful place to chill out with friends!! I’ve been visiting almost twice a week for the past one year. Hot wings is a must try. The pizza is also great. A message to the team “please start selling the oatmeal stout again. It’s one of my favourites!! “
Some choices of drinks are available, but the food options are impeccable! Their portions are really filling so if you're looking for your money's worth; this is definitely the place to go, also quite nice to sit on the patio.
For what it is - and that's a King-Sherbourne pub/tavern - Betty's checks all the boxes. Interior with character, servers with unique personalities, decent menu of standard items (with a strange combo of thai/tex mex orientation) and good beer selection - both craft and wider production. Also tries some interesting new concepts (some may say gimmicks) like metered beer taps (available in some booths), daily infusion brews, etc. Pad thai is pretty good, wings are solid, burgers decent. Nothing is really a home run but most items are usually pretty dependable. A good place to sit down for a chat over lunch.
This is one of my favorite pubs in TO. Always busy -always friendly, and one of the best beer selections in the city. Patio is superb and food more than satisfactory. Very interesting clientele and owner who cares is always there. Bravo!
Good standard hang out. Comfortable setting for a few drinks with friends. The food was a little disappointing but is standard pub fare. I expected more but is was acceptable. Good for a relaxed night. Servers are friendly. Price is right
Great patio at the back ideal for summer drinks after work.
Jerk wings are pretty good! The onion rings w/ curry mayo.. The rings were a lil greasy and the curry mayo dip doesn't go well. The service was great and the bathrooms were clean but need a little work. Great patio, I will def go back
Good old Betty's. Been coming here for quite a few years. Food is pretty decent and so is beer selection. Bathrooms are disgusting and although recently re-done need to be gutted again. Looks like a 10 year old did the last reno. They could use a complete re-do of the back patio as it could be quite a gem.
Beer and food doesn't stand out but the patio in summer and fall is AWESOME!
For the beer and comany. Not for the food
No nonsense at every hour. They're not going to blow your mind with the menu, but the nail it on execution every time. Super casual environment. This is your prototypical neighbourhood bar with eats.
