Best Crab Cakes in the city!
One of the Best!. By far, one of the best hotel restaurants around. Not as grand and elaborate as you might think, but the food is outstanding and they feature one of the best breakfast buffets in the city.
Service is outstanding with fast and friendly waiters and waitresses. During the day, the restaurant converts to a contemporary bistro featuring inspired menu items. Bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable. Great place for locals and tourists.
Simply Enjoyable. The first thing you notice is the tall shelves with bottles of alcohol reach up into the high ceiling. The bar offers its own separate menu from the restaurant itself. The hummus tasted pretty standard and the pita bread came out oven warm. Their hamburgers were cooked to perfection while maintaining their juiciness. The signature burger, the Running Boy, was a Big Mac gone upscale. The fries were a little on the under done side. The Buffalo chicken wings were spicy and drenched in sauce. Napkins were required. The bar also features a combination platter of their appitizers including one that came with sliders, hummus, and a large container of carrots and celery. The server and bartender were very attentive to filling our drinks. At night, the glass ceiling was lit by string lights. Candles at the bar and tables set the relax atmosphere. The restaurant is located inside the Marriott Hotel which has underground parking. The food was so good, you may have to think twice before heading out to the city for dinner.
Nestled away in the back of the Toronto Marriott Eaton Center is the lone dining option in one of the city's more popular hotels. Renovations have turned out a modern, sleek and well priced (for a downtown hotel) dining establishment that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The staff is very friendly and very accommodating, and if you're staying at the hotel or simply stopping in for dinner, you will be able to find something to enjoy. The breakfast buffer - once the best in the city - has changed, however. The popular Omelet station is still in full swing, but the pastries selection has shrunk and smoked salmon is no longer on the menu.
Still, if you're staying here, get the 'stay for breakfast' upgrade.
